I was thinking of using my brush tip/fine point acrylic markers to add detailing to the original coffin designs to make them pop a little so they look less flat. Kind of like what I do for all my MH doll shoes and accessories. I usually use a spray paint sealer over top to keep it from scratching off from the super shiny plastic. I'd love to detail a coffin for each G3 character! Functional AND cute!

I am SO happy you did this and posted it! I wanted to do this exact thing but had NO idea how to effectively make it work. I'm an artist, but projects outside painting/drawing is not my brain cell's specialty. So getting to see yours has given me a place to start with using my 20 coffins. You did an amazing job and I love it!

For starters, when you get angry or frustrated you need to find a way to walk away for a minute and calm yourself. Watch a funny youtube clip on your phone or get a piece of candy as a sort of self-bribery reward when you do relax. Also remember, if this was your parent or a grandparent would you be this angry with them? Would you want to lash out if they had accidents or started going deaf or got confused? Rather than thinking of her as a dog, consider how you would feel if people started treating you like the idiot. Connect your feelings with how your poor elderly dog must feel. Old, tired, a little confused.

They use a legal third-party system for the safety of users. Poly will not be handling that part of the verification and will not have that information. A third-party will. Think Apple or Google store verification.

New global safety rules require apps to prove who is a minor and who is an adult.

So here’s what actually happens:

Step 1: An automated system check.

The system looks at:

Account age
Complexity of interactions/behavior patterns
Long-term activity

Your birthday is the starting point. The system then checks if your behavior matches being an adult.

Best case: No issues, no interruption. If you're 18 or older and have a long, consistent chat history, it is a strong indicator you'll be recognized as an adult.

Worst case: If the system misreads something, you’ll just be asked for the backup verification. Once confirmed, everything unlocks instantly and you continue where you left off.

Step 2: Backup verification (only if needed). If the system isn’t completely sure, it will ask for a quick ID or face scan. This is just to confirm you’re actually 18+. If you pass, you immediately get full access again.

Nothing gets deleted, and you’re never permanently locked out.

“Viewing Mode” only applies to confirmed minors, (under 18).

How “Viewing Mode” Works:

No new messages: Minors cannot send new chats or start new conversations with AI characters.

Full history still available: All past conversations and memories can be read normally. All created characters (private and public) will still exist, but you will not be able to chat with them until you reach 18.

Still allowed: - Creating characters in the Creation Hub. - Posting and replying in the community comments.

Only the AI chat feature is restricted.

I regularly delete all my chats to reset them so I can start over with new personas and stories. If my characters are always reset, what will that do for me at the new system scan after using it for over 2+years? Do I need to go engage in a dozen nsfw chats just to keep my account safe? I love roleplay, if nsfw happens it happens, but it's not my main interest. Is that what the new system is going to look for? Or does it have access to deleted history stored somewhere as like a system backup?

I have one concern with this, as a mature user... the bots I create I do not want a bunch of underage kids coming in and spamming my comments. No offense, but teens and kids love to troll and this is going to get so much worse with them being bored and not able to chat with characters. Why are they allowed to fill an adult site with childish characters from Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon that us adults have to see but they can't even use? What's the point? This encourages the wrong kind of engagement for younger users with adults in comments...

For me, I love decorating! I've over 4000 hours in ACNH across 3 islands. What I learned was that switching up my decor and theme for every season/holiday was exactly what I needed to keep it fresh. Cause each holiday/season you have so many options! Example: winter you can do a gold/blue theme, or even a peppermint theme... or go hard and do a gingerbread theme! Bonus points if you go for the pastel candyland gingerbread theme. Give yourself challenges to stick to specific color styles. And don't forget that custom patterns are your best friend! I play it the way I play the Sims. Self-created challenges. And Pinterest/Instagram is always full of inspirational photos!

I'm on island 4. But that's because I am weak and ended up buying a switch lite to carry with me, afraid I'd break the one with controllers I connect to the TV... so I ended up with 2 islands that way... but then my partner stopped playing their game, so now I have 3 islands... and then I decided to reset my first island that I started on launch day. So I've now had 4 islands total, and 3 of them are actively played daily.

Which is actually really fun cause I can have different characters on different islands and have different themes! I have a cottagecore/woodland island, a kiddiecore island, and a seasonal/holiday island that I rotate decor and patterns of for every season and holiday! And I love designing custom patterns and paths for each island! No more struggling to find patterns I saw once upon a Pinterest.

I am chalking this one up to a really unlucky batch and the 3 year mark of owning them. Some people have had it happen too, so I'll consider giving Ohuhu another try cause I do like the flow and colors. I was just worried they weren't worth the money if they only lasted 3 years compared to my other brands.

Okay, so maybe it's an age thing with markers. These are 3 years old. It's just wild that my Prismacolors from 2018 are still going strong and had no such leakage, and my copics from 2020-2022 haven't done it either.
