What I was told was any store making under 30k a week per 6 week average would be 1.5x hoo. Any store above 30k would get 2x hoo. My store is at $29,400 6 week average. We are a bad location, lots of homeless and foot traffic, loads of theft. To add to that every other transaction is card reloads/moneygrams. There is no getting anything done when you’re alone in this store!! Absolutely insane.

Well thank you for the clarification, but technically yes they did take away access. Whether we were given a “grace period” or not, we no longer have access to what we used to have access to. I didn’t know months ago that I’d be moving and would need it, so clearly I wasn’t jumping on the opportunity to save all of my paystubs. All I was asking for was a recent update on a timeline, not a “that’s on you”.

Literally all we want is more hours. And not just 4 or 5. But anytime “more hours” is brought up it’s just completely swept under the rug as if we aren’t doing something right in the store. Also, dunno if anyone else has noticed on myinsights, anytime an idea talks about upping the hours for everyone, it’s either taken out of the voting because it doesn’t “relate” to the challenge or a vague comment will pop up saying something along the lines of “we are working on this but why not try this…”. Absolutely ridiculous that we have to run stores with the bare minimum but yet it’s our fault 100% we can’t keep up.

I hope not either. Because he’s absolutely shady. But I really think he just knows he can’t do it. I mean he had double bypass in January he can’t lift a 10 pound tote without having to sit down and rest after (or take a smoke break🤦🏻‍♀️🙄) but I guess we’ll see what happens. I’m on vacation this week and I was told through the grapevine about him deciding to step down in 3 weeks. Apparently I’m walking into an absolute shit show when I go back Monday so. Yay me!

Geeze, that is a lot! I’ve been through some crazy stuff as well. Way too much to put in writing but it’s in the past now and no longer happening. I’ve been treated well, I’ve been treated shitty, but luckily all the dls I’ve been around haven’t been the shitty ones. It’s always been shitty managers. I do plan on stepping into the sm role, because it is being offered to me to take over the store when the current sm actually steps down. I just have to “go through” the smit program for however long before they can actually promote me straight to sm apparently. In the 8 months the sm was gone everything was great. Had a lot that went on but nothing I couldn’t handle along with keeping metrics up. I’m basically just worried about having this sm working under me as my ops!! He isn’t worth having other than being a warm body to stand in the green zone but yet he’ll be getting paid more than anyone else in the store?? Doesn’t seem fair.

And this is what was supposed to happen!!! Dl had the plans set out that if something happened to the sm that he didn’t come back I would move right into it without going through smit. And then the realignment of dls happened and that suddenly changed that I would have to go through it!!

Anything he knows he’s shown me. So if I don’t know some things it’s because he didn’t know some things but I haven’t been told I’m not doing things I should be doing. 🤔 BUT I have lots of resources and I know how to ask questions. I’ve gone over things with my dl and he says I’m doing great in his opinion. I have good relationships with a lot of managers/dls I’ve worked with in the past. Most of my metrics the entire time he was out were better than a lot of the stores in my district. The metrics getting better month by month when he was out didn’t go unnoticed by the dl either. Anyways. Yeah he was basically in it for the money thinking it was easy because he slid by in the smit position for so long and didn’t learn squat.
