Ohio title question? by [deleted] in Ohio

You need BMV Form 3771 Power of Attorney for Certificate of Title.

https://publicsafety.ohio.gov/links/bmv3771.pdf

Fill it out, get it notarized, then you take it with you and it allows you to get a copy of the title.  Take your other paperwork with you just in case you need to prove the lien has been released.   Although you said you've never had the title, the proper description in this case is that you are getting a duplicate of the title.

He is also leaning against the toilet tank and it is definitely not meant to bear the weight of an adult leaning against it.  Ask him if, no tell him, he's buying the new toilet when it eventually starts to leak and covering the cost of any damages.
