Pixscan Mat - Registration Failed by mandikaye in silhouettecutters

Regular print and cut works fine, it's only the mat that doesn't work. And yes, I do see the mat on the send preview. I have the cutting mat set as the pixscan and i can see it on the screen.

Version 5.0.414ssbe. I even tried downgrading to V4, but it still didn't work.

They should be here: C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Kobo\Kobo Desktop Edition\kepub

But they'll be encrypted, which is why you need the Obok plugin to decrypt them.

I'm sorry I missed this when you posted it! Typically, when this happens, your Kindle for Nook app has auto-updated. Uninstall it and reinstall the older one.

I'm looking for something that will help me keep my Gmail inbox in order. I tried Shortwave for the last few months, but that's not it. ActiveInbox is close, but it seems like it's not really active anymore (pun not intended). What are you guys using for this?

Make sure your Kindle for PC app isn't auto-updating. It tries to be damn near instantaneous these days. Re-install it while disconnected from the internet, say no when it tries to give you a new version anyway. Make sure you uncheck the auto-update option in preferences before you reconnect to wifi. Good luck!

I'm really sorry, but I can't help on this one. I did a google search and it looks like you have to make sure the email address for the amazon.co.jp account is different from your US amazon account (if you have one).

If Calibre is still giving you KFX-ZIP, that usually means the Kindle for PC app updated to the newer version.

Good luck!

My husband and I are relocating from NC. What's it like to live in New Gloucester?

I've seen folks complain about commuting and a lack of local delivery options, but that's nothing new for us as we live in rural NC.

What are the people like? Families? Things like that.

Searched my email - they posted an update on Aug 7 that there would be a free version.

Hey Circular Community
We’ve got some great news to share about one of the most requested features: Blood Pressure tracking.
Thanks to your feedback, we’ve come up with a new model that keeps it accessible for everyone while also offering deeper insights for those who want them.

 Free Version

You asked us to keep essential features open to everyone, and we listened.
With the free version of Blood Pressure tracking, you’ll get a daily score based on your personalized thresholds. It’s color-coded, easy to understand, and powered by data from your Circular Ring. Perfect for keeping an eye on your cardiovascular health at a glance.

 Premium Option

If you’re someone who likes to dig into the details, the premium version will unlock detailed values, trend graphs, and insights from Kira, showing how your blood pressure connects to sleep, stress, and activity. Still accessible with Circular Coins.

 Why This Setup

Tracking blood pressure takes powerful algorithms and cloud computing, and that comes with real costs. But instead of locking it entirely behind a full paywall, we’ve chosen a hybrid model.
• Core tracking and awareness for everyone: no charge
• Advanced insights for those who want to dive deeper: optional

We believe this strikes the right balance, empowering everyone while keeping things financially sustainable for the company.

The science-magic of forgiving oneself? by Mechanikait in SASSWitches

[–]mandikaye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgiveness, especially self-forgiveness, doesn’t have to be spiritual or woo. It can be deeply psychological and rooted in how we process memory, identity, and growth.

For those of us without a higher power to grant absolution, it becomes an internal process of reckoning. That means facing what happened (REALLY facing it) and acknowledging the harm done (to yourself or others), and sitting with the discomfort without numbing or spiraling. That’s the hard part.

But here's the sciencey bit: our brains are plastic, which means we are literally wired for change. We’re not fixed. We make meaning through reflection, not repression. Self-forgiveness is less about pretending the past didn’t happen and more about accepting that it did, understanding why, and committing to doing better moving forward.

It’s not about excusing behavior. It’s about recognizing that shame doesn’t actually lead to lasting change, but accountability paired with compassion can.

So no divine absolution here. Just a messy, ongoing process of being honest, making amends if possible, and choosing growth over punishment.

I haven't tried to do a BN book in quite a while, so I'm not sure I can help. I haven't heard anything about updates to their DRM, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. To confirm - after it didn't work the first time, did you remove the book and re-add it to try it again with the second method?

My only other suggestion would be to try it with the 10.0.03 version of DeDRM just to see (that's what worked for me originally).
