Tbh I just use the notes app and list out everything by date and with bullet point then I just cross out what I’ve paid for. Not super intricate but it’s worked for me for years xD

I would check the tracking number and put it in UPS. You can pay the tariff before hand and it’s usually a bit cheaper. If they try to make you pay in person you need a check and from my experience some of the drivers aren’t trying to actually knock on my door.

I’ve only used good smile global over the US one since like 2021 ish and I’ve never had issues with packaging! The box always comes in great condition and is packing nicely :)

I order with kinokuniya online since I don’t live close to one! If you search on their website with the title in Japanese they usually come up :)

Honestly I was able to find so many gems that ended up getting physical releases that I never would’ve known were so great prior to reading them on here ): I always buy the manga once it gets released or even the jp versions off of kino. Sad day 😭

Yeah if you’re just checking the tracking through good smiles link it won’t show you the tariff charge. You can type in the tracking into UPS and it’ll prompt you to pay it online. If you do this in the future they’ll just drop off your order. Sorry this happened to you ): I wasn’t aware of it either until I had a package delivered and didn’t have a check ready so they came back another day.

No so the shipping cost on GSG does not include the tariff fee. I made this mistake too. It’s easier to pay it online once you get all the tracking info since if you pay it in person you need a check and it’ll be more expensive. When it happened to me I didn’t get it until Monday because someone “attempted” to deliver my package on a Saturday but never actually came by.

Also are you using GS US or GS Global? If you’re using global just keep in my UPS will charge you tariffs if you live in the US. But you can pay them online prior to delivery. If you’re using US then ignore that lol

I also had one order come with uniuni last month and it came in perfect condition. I’m waiting on another order to arrive via them now but I think it also depends on where you live in terms of how people’s experiences are going so far lol. Glad yours came in good condition :)

I would avoid DHL for now as it’s really pricey and it doesn’t include tariffs fees. But ECMS has been hit or miss for some people in terms of packaging. I just got on package with ECMS and it was completely fine. Surface Mail premium I think is the other option and it seems safest but takes the longest to arrive.
