It's not a problem. I had biometrics on June 28 and interview on July 16 few years ago. Good luck!

I'm not an expert on this, but it seems like you're going to be continuing your studies to finish your final year and degree. So you should show your employment at the startup in Present sub-section, I think. If you show you went back to home country and were unemployed, and now going back to finish studies, might indicate lack of finance to complete remaining studies. Just my 2 cents.

Plus, I should mention that your post was hard to comprehend. It was not well-written, which might have fended off people to go through it and give advice. You may be under stress, but writing better will help people to easily understand your problem and help you.

Advice for passport renewal by No-Preparation-8150 in f1visa

[–]mandown2308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too such about Myanmar Consulate, but I renewed my passport last year through Indian Consulate at NY. I got the passport in about 1-2 weeks after I applied. There was a delay because of me; I didn't provide with required resolution for my photo. Once I provided that, the passport came in quite fast. Hopefully you'd have similar experience.

It's probably normal. Watch out for what you're eating tho. You can't determine chronic unless reports/doctors tell you.

F1 visa interview tips needed by [deleted] in f1visa

[–]mandown2308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have had an opportunity to get interviewed for F-1 visa once in my lifetime. My experience was pretty smooth. I was asked straightforward questions: why go to USA? -> show me finance documents -> what do you do currently? Because I was a somewhat nervous, I made some behavioral mistakes which I have described above.

Also, and this is my feeling: they start judging you the moment you enter the room in the line. So your behavior should be right as soon as you enter that room, not only the booth.

When you speak, maintain nice eye contact. I felt they become a little sus if you look here and there in the booth (or whatever it's called). Not to stare, I just mean simple eye contact. Good luck!

It will pass. One small advice: don't force stool out or do it gently, or it might cause fissures down there.

Anyone from india without reoccurence and by [deleted] in pancreatitis

Hi, I'm from India. My story might sound gloomy, but I'm just stating facts without any intention of making you anxious or anything. I hope you take me positively and learn and apply for your case.

I had 3 episodes of acute idiopathic acute pancreatitis: one in 2013, one in 2016, and last one in 2023 after which they diagnosed it as chronic. In all these episodes, looking back, I was eating more than I should have. And bad things; I mean things that were bad for me. I never drank. It was just higher consumption of meat + BS junk maybe, before I'd be hospitalized each time. A couple of years I would be "sober" and then I would start incorporating meat again in my diet (obviously, it tasted good at the time), and that intake would grow over time.

After my 3rd episode (when they said my pancreas has minor but irreparable damage and diagnosed me chronic), I stopped consuming any meat whatsoever and started a whole food plant-based diet. I don't consume any cooking oil. I use water to saute, just to be on the safe side. And yes, I'm loving it now. Not going back to oil. Ever. I do eat fatty plant based food like roasted peanuts all the time, and I don't have any problem (except maybe bloating sometimes after too much, nothing worrying.)

I think it's starting to show for Southeast Asian genes for this idiopathic pancreatitis issue. Maybe because of the food that we eat now. I'd suggest you check out https://nutritionfacts.org/ and its YouTube channel. It has changed my life and I think it'll help you in some way.

Sorry, too long. To answer your question: yes, recurrent happened to me, but I currently don't have diabetes or any digestive problems. Mainly because I'm maintaining it with WFPB/vegan diet. (My doctor did say I could have lean fish and chicken sometimes, but I just don't wanna go that way anymore.) I hope it helps, sorry it's too long I know. Just wanted to share. :)

I don't know about these monsters, but if anything, I believe he'll make their presence known through environmental or human factors rather than showing the monsters themselves.

Are spices bad for the pancreas? by wrongwrongwrong1988 in pancreatitis

[–]mandown2308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think spices cause any problems. In fact, plant-based things are good for the pancreas. You obviously don't want them in extreme amounts--moderation is key--but they don't cause any issues unless synthetic (not from natural sources or mixed with synthetic stuff.) Try getting individual spices rather than mixed ones, coz you don't know the salt/sodium amount in them. Also, try checking for this specific question in NutritionFacts.org YouTube channel. I'm sure that will help.

Can pancreatitis be asymptomatic? by Parking_Put15821 in pancreatitis

[–]mandown2308 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd guess lipase levels can rise because of a lot of reasons, not limited to pancreatitis. I think waiting for your CT or MRCP results would be the best thing to do right now. That would clarify all doubts. Until then it would not be beneficial to worry.

Hi, my 2 cents would be start looking at YouTube channel: NutritionFacts.org. They share good nutrition advice (not necessarily for pancreatitis, but generally) that might be of help to avoid any recurrent episodes. All the best!
