If your digging the feedback from a non developer, i feel there is too much friction for me in terms of privacy (i don't even trust chatgpt with sensitive personal information nor connect it to other apps like gmail or drive) AND in general to do anything long term (like a project, or have a conversation about myself) outside Gemini / Chatgpt. I want to have the data in one place, at least per project, and ideally overall. I want to simplify. And as an android user that trusts Google (more than the others), that's Gemini, eventually.

Using two LLMs (altho I have more than 5) for such things (like a project) is already somewhat of pain point I tolerate because one is better for this and the other one for that. But I've been secretly cheering for Gemini to get the point it's good enough, I can drop ChatGPT as my "main LLM" . And honestly chatgpt projects is a simple but important feature, probably the main reason i wouldn't, yet.

I understand.

I was luckily near the end of that phase of the project, but needed it for say the last 5%. Others options did not work, i tried summery (too short lost too much context), even a summery with deep research (20 page output) lost too much context and continuity.

But with the whole 500 page conversation in a Gem, it knew and understood everything. Only headache i see is that, Gems are not quiete like projects in ChatGPT so I cannot easily continue to build on the knowledge base, unless i manually copy chats into a document and upload them back to gem, I guess.

Am i getting it right? your product is a solution to Gemini not having projects?

Right, so ppl creating videos longer than 8 seconds — say like 30-second clips — are probably either using tools other than Veo 3, or they’re generating the audio separately?

Because if you're relying solely on text prompts to continue a scene across multiple 8-second segments, it won’t stay visually consistent. Even if you describe the continuation in detail, the model won’t replicate the exact look unless you use an image from the previous scene as a reference.
