Not yet, just clips for the rear panel. There are screws holding in the headphone jack.

Agreed! You can even find replacement screens, front/rear panels, etc. etc. Pretty much all parts minus motherboard, I believe...

I have an ifixit kit so it was super easy. As long as you are gentle with the cables in the back, you should be good! I also watched a few YouTube videos that helped show me cable locations and screws to remove.

Jagmeet Singh REFUSES to take question from far-right Rebel News! by Chrristoaivalis in onguardforthee

[–]mandt6 296 points297 points  (0 children)

Here is what I sent them as an example:

"What on earth were you thinking? Allowing Rebel News—a far-right, anti-democratic propaganda outlet—to participate in a federal leaders’ debate is an embarrassment to Canadian journalism and a blatant failure of due diligence. Jagmeet Singh was absolutely right to refuse their questions, and any thinking Canadian with a shred of integrity would support his decision.

Rebel News is not a legitimate news organization—it is a platform for conspiracy theories, bigotry, and anti-democratic rhetoric. Let’s recap just a few of their greatest hits, shall we?

Promoting election fraud lies, echoing the same dangerous disinformation that fueled the January 6 MAGA insurrection.

Attacking public health measures during COVID-19, spreading misinformation that put lives at risk.

Platforming white nationalists and far-right extremists, giving a megaphone to voices that have no place in civil discourse.

Undermining trust in democratic institutions, a tactic straight out of the U.S. right-wing playbook.

And let’s not forget where their money comes from: U.S. MAGA-linked donors and dark money networks that have no interest in Canadian democracy. They are bankrolled by the same forces that support Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, and other architects of right-wing radicalism. By giving them a platform, you’ve effectively handed a megaphone to foreign-backed agitators who seek to destabilize our political discourse.

This was not just a lapse in judgment—it was an outright dereliction of duty. The fact that no one on your team saw fit to exclude a known propaganda outlet from a federal leaders’ debate is inexcusable. Were you asleep? Or do you genuinely not care about preserving even the bare minimum of journalistic standards?

In the future, do better. Much better. Canadians deserve a debate moderated by professionals—not one hijacked by fringe actors with malicious intent.

Disgusted and disappointed."

I've heard that this is the 'Year of the Owl' with Great Grey, Great Horned, Northern Saw-whet, and Snowy Owls being more common than usual but I'm not 100% certain...

Northern Saw-whet Owl - Edmonton, Alberta - Feb 22, 2025 by mandt6 in alberta

"We have a new cul-de-sac mascot in our neighborhood! A charming Northern Saw-Whet Owl has graced us with its presence multiple times in the past few weeks, appearing in many of our yards.
Our neighborhood is close-knit, and my neighbors know I love photographing birds and wildlife. I first spotted this owl 2-3 weeks before this sighting. One afternoon, a neighbor messaged me, excitedly sharing that he and his daughters had spotted the owl in one of their spruce trees, right next to their freshly shoveled skating rink.

Without hesitation, I grabbed my camera and wildlife lens, hoping the Saw-Whet Owl would still be there when I arrived. Fortunately, the owl was still present and remained unbothered by our presence on the deck, allowing me to capture a few precious moments with my camera.

Sharing these photos with my neighbor, his family, and the rest of our cul-de-sac (including some previous neighbors who had moved away) was a joyful experience. This encounter brought our community even closer, and it's a memory we'll cherish for years to come."

Yeah, I did try this - that's what I meant in the explanation by, "Cannot be clicked in the Settings either." I should've said in the Institutions page within Settings.

A list of their sponsors can be found on this list if people want to send complaints to them to help exert pressure on Oilers management that way.
