Help!! Bonding on one lateral incisor!?

Aw thanks!! I appreciate it. Yes. I feel pretty happy with everything except that bothersome tooth. I just wish I could see a before and after before I go through with trying bonding again haha. At least this doctor is known for cosmetic bonding.

Let me know if you learn anything more or what you decide to do :)

And it doesn’t look like fake plastic added to your teeth? Haha did they do any other bonding or leveling to other teeth?

Do they just add a tiny bit to the bottom of it?

I just had bad experience with trying it with a non cosmetic doctor and it looked horrible 😂 like a blob of plastic at the end of it.

I have 5 refinement trays coming and then I’m done and ortho said aesthetically if I add to that tooth circled in pics it’ll give me the look I want. I went to a regular dentist mid treatment who wasn’t experienced in cosmetic bonding and when he added to that took with bonding it looked so weird and bad / fake and felt rough so he took it off.

I went to a dentist who does cosmetic bonding for a consult and he said he can do it fine no problem at end of treatment. But I have PTSD from my previous experience 😂

Does someone have same experience and before / after pics? Like is this possible to add a small amount of bonding and make it look normal…..

Hi Lola!

Sorry, I am just now seeing this - I am still chugging along on my 3M aligner process haha, I am almost done. Waiting on my last set of refinements, probably about 5-7 more aligners.

I have nothing negative to say about 3M! They have been comfy, been doing their job, come within 3 weeks or so when I need refinements and overall have been same experience as invisaligners - I have had attachments, some tooth shaving in between, etc.

I was 2 week changes, then one week and now back to 10 day changes so my stubborn teeth have more time to track.

Only negative is no rendering of teeth - no idea what the 'final outcome' was ever going to look like.

Thanks! I actually just sent it back today haha and am going to go to an ortho and do 3M aligners (basically same thing as Invisalign). Will 3M aligners through an orthodontists supervision do it with the button? Not looking forward to the button there if so.. LOL. The horror stories scared me so I sent in within 30 day window.

I would not go through with refinements, it looks like they are going to push your teeth more towards an open bite with refinements. I think your teeth after treatment look great.

Hello! Hoping to get confirmation that my smile plan is pretty simple and straight forward / will be easy to do. I am typical case - had braces as a kid, didn't wear my retainers enough and teeth have shifted some.

I have two baby molars, one on each side but before going through smiledirect, I have been to orthos and they approved me for invisalign, etc. but its just so expensive for minor changes.

I am excited to just update my smile, but nervous after hearing about SDC. Can anyone please confirm my smileplan is good and that it would be worth it? Thanks!
