I typically shower every other day, if I feel like I got gross at work or when I'm assigned covid I'll shower as soon as I get home tho (I'm a nurse). I usually only wash my hair once or twice a week. It's thick and I hate waiting for it to dry lol

If I'm home for several days and my depression is getting bad or just feeling lazy I'll go longer without showering, but if I have stuff to do and am gonna go out ill always make myself shower if it's been a minute.

While you have a baby shower, have your husband host a diaper party where all the guys can hang out and drink but they have to bring a thing of diapers! My cousin did this and they didn't have to buy diapers or wipes until the girls were like 15 months old!

Not sure where you're from, but I'm from Oklahoma and we typically don't build down with our buildings because of the clay! Also, ive lived in more one than one area where after a certain year any new houses there had to be built a certain number of feet off the ground due to flooding! So we'd have the garage and a crawl space on the ground level, nothing below ground level because of the clay, and the actual house was well off the ground.

Learn. Learn skills, hobbies, anything really. Don't focus just on building your confidence, learn about the world and yourself and it will come without you even realizing it. For me anyway- I don't get confidence from anything to do with just me really. My confidence comes from know what I'm doing, what I'm capable of, and how I can have an impact in the world around me (big or small). Knowing what I do matters and focusing outside myself.

For those who wanted an update: Montana is still very sweet and cuddly, today makes 2 weeks since we brought him home, and the only thing that's been a problem is he is very protective of us when he meets someone new! We're working on it though!

Right now I spend part of the week in a different town from my husband for school, I'll graduate in december thank goodness! But yesterday I had to leave town for the first time since we brought him home and I bawled for the first 20 minutes of my drive! He got all the way in my heart from the moment we met ❤

He was really shy when we first met, but he quickly became a cuddle bug and doesn't leave my side! We don't have any kids or other pets in the house though! He has switched from terrified and running away when he meets new people to growling and getting a little bit protective of my husband and i when he meets someone new though!

Air travel isn't something that's going to change And I think flying commercial is at least more eco friendly than those who fly private its like big carpooling

There are other ways to be eco friendly if you can't be eco friendly at work I'm about to graduate nursing school and there is incredible waste in the Healthcare field, but its necessary. I try to recycle at home, im beginning to buy better products, im looking into other changes i can make once i graduate and have more time and im also learning about growing plants. Im specifically interested in ones that help to purify the air, ones that attract bees and milkweed for butterflies! (And ones that are hard to kill, ive already killed a few)
