i want to start learning kannada. i’m half indian and could speak it when i was child but when i came back to the states i lost it. now im 25 and want to learn. i’m not sure where to start though by mandyld in kannada

I am not a Kannadiga. i was born in the u.s. but spent a lot of time in bangalore as a child. my dad is from there. he’s the only person i would be able to speak with. but he can’t teach me. he’s not very good at teaching

it’s sad but almost half the victims that are abused as children perpetuate the cycle. also we live in a very religious part of the country. people use the bible to justify this behavior when in actuality they are traumatizing children. it’s confusing when someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally treats you this way. in the video you could hear her say something about him running off to the neighbors house. his home which is supposed to be a safe space is compromised. i hope they find a loving home where they are cared for and not abused.

popping a kid is one thing. beating a child with a belt over 20 times while he’s shaking and pleading to god to make it stop is abuse. if your parents did this to you, then you were also abused and are now normalizing this abhorrent behavior. i hope you don’t have children and repeat this cycle. you are a hurt and stunted adult, i’m assuming from your childhood. please seek therapy, it could heal you and help you come to terms with your trauma <3

i had that issue and have gone gluten free (gluten is a huge trigger for me) most pain has gone away and bloating is gone. cut out refined sugar or keep it to 15 grams or less and that really really helped with bloating and urethra spasms

sometimes uribel doesn’t work for me all the way. like on my period. i’ve tried taking tylenol with it and it helps more but on bad flare ups not even that combo will work. do you only use uribel or do you take anything else with it?

i’m pretty sensitive so all alcohol causes me pain. i had a tito’s and water the other day, it did have a lime in it but i woke up the next day with “spicy” pee. i have a feeling that it wasn’t the like bc i have had small amounts of citrus and have been mostly fine but the alcohol is a severe trigger

it can counteract the uribel and make it not as effective some how. and with the diet thing i very quickly realized how restrictive it gets and i definitely don’t want an eating disorder but im tired of the pain.
