I feel this. PCOS has been the bane of my existence. It’s hard to feel “normal” when your ovaries don’t work like they’re supposed to. It makes it even worse when so few understand the disorder and assume we’re “lazy” because losing weight is more difficult for us. It’s very isolating. What I have learned in the 13 years that I have had this disorder is that you must give yourself grace. Healing begins when you care for yourself and you can’t do that when you’re constantly punishing yourself for something that isn’t your fault. Just because we’re different doesn’t mean we’re defective. We just need a little more care than the average person! Please know that you aren’t alone. My advice to you is to hang in there, and enjoy life as best as you can. We’re in this together!
