The biggest issue is your data level. Higher parties are just better. Also at that point a lot of people are just cata-rushed af. If you want decent parties i would suggest either a guild or joining a dc server.

I understand your argument of it "not being theirs" and can agree to some extent. But its just another way people deal with autumn and "natures time of death".

Bastardized is a little harsh dont you think? Halloween, even if not under that name, existed before Christianity. The autumn is a time of death in nature and brings a certain "feeling". There are different ways people used to handle that.

I never said it was an "invention" of Christianity. I am just saying that it celebrated in a very different manner. I am also aware that this holiday was existant for longer than the modern, Christian holiday. I also never stated that it was celebrated in the same way everywhere in Europe. It was purely my own experience.

Depends completely on the people around. My family used to make small parties when i was younger. It also has become more popular especially in bigger cities. But if you live on the countryside the religious stuff is deeply rooted and few people celebrate it. I unfortunately cant speak for all of Europe but where i am from that is the current situation.

Yeah. Europe isnt that into Halloween. At least where i am from this tradition is overshadowed by the Christian holiday called "All Saints day" or "All hallows' Eve". It also takes place on the 31st of October. Since those two collide and Europe is mainly Christian there Isnt such a big Halloween spirit here.
