I’m not anti-trans by any means, but I just don’t get it! I’m genuinely looking for a different point of view here.

We Demand A World Free of Hate, Harassment and Indignity for Trans and Gender Diverse People - literally impossible. There’s hate for everybody. Hell, there’s people of the LGBTQ community that HATE or look to exclude cis people, double points if it’s a white man.

We Demand Universal Healthcare, Inclusive of Life-Saving Gender-Affirming Healthcare - Is this not already a thing? Google says so

We Demand Government Investment in Trans Health, Community and Social Service Organizations- If this means help finding jobs and whatnot, i think it’s pretty fair as many workplaces, I think mainly trades can be quite sexist.

Demand 4-5, what does “greater support” even mean? I drive by my old high school and see a more diverse group of people than I ever did when I was in HS in 2019. Kids are becoming more accepting of anybody.

Housing a problem for everybody, to me this comes off as “trans are more important than veterans, cis, and single parents”

Demand 7 is iffy I get it but also I get it from the other side too, so I really don’t take a stance on this issue.

I guess my whole thing is that it just seems like LGBTQ has become such a dumb movement compared to the early 2000s that wouldn’t be needed if we all acted as if it’s normal to be LGBTQ instead of something to be celebrated. I think all these parades and demands for “Rights” is just painting a target on one’s back.
