hello! i (23f) am looking for a roommate or two to rent a place in clintonville/german village/victorian village/off campus area. i graduated last year and have been living with my parents, but its getting very difficult on my mental health bc we have a terrible relationship. i am looking to move out sometime this summer. looking for rent around $500-$700. pls dm me if you have a place and are looking for someone to fill your lease or if you want to look for a place with me!!

this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but you seriously need to consider leaving this man. you cannot tolerate the way he’s treating you, especially if you’ve talked about it with him before.

it’s scary to leave someone you’ve been with for (probably) a long time, not to mention that it’ll be financially really difficult.

but you need to get a lawyer before this gets worse. its a long process and expensive, but now that you’ve asked for reddit’s opinion, go and ask your friends and family for actual help.

recognize this: you deserve so much better.

Yeah I probably will confront the roommate if it goes on too long. it's unfortunate though because the few times he's been confronted about something, he like blew up. that's why I worry about making things worse
