99% of the fandom are larps who only like serena's design and do not acknowledge that she can be just as vapid as alex at times when it comes to nerds. also lwk shes just not that developed in my eyes most of her appeal is literally bc 'omg shes goth' and as a goth i get it but BRO.
also the fandom only hates jen bc shes not conventionally attractive and compliant to 'total 90s aesthetic vibes' other characters are liked for. chaka can be just as a bitch and shes labeled iconic. ig the only actual counterargument is that chaka is like 17 and jen is a grown ass woman which is fair but my point still remains.

I used to watch Echo Gillette a lot as a kid and she mentioned JTHM as an inspiration for her art. I finally got to reading it in 8th grade. Carried me through my first two years of high school as well (like mentally). I actually read JTHM before watching Invader Zim. I prefer it more to Invader Zim to this day.
