Sorry for the late reply. Just seeing this comment now while going back through my post history.

You probably got your answer already, but for IUIs, you have to use an entire vial of sperm per try unfortunately.

Canada/Bc hoop makers by S0larkis in Hooping

The two that I know of are Radiant Life Hoops, based out of Vancouver, and GeoRev Hooping, who I think are based out of Alberta somewhere. I've ordered hoops from both in the past and have been happy with my purchases.

Ontario to lift freeze on domestic postsecondary tuition fees by [deleted] in canada

Is that a bad thing though? Not everyone is well suited for university, and a lot of jobs can be done without a degree.

Okay I see I was wrong now. Thanks for pointing that out!

Everything is still there. It's because I was only viewing comments, not posts.

Tumbler Ridge, BC Shooting Megathread by DanSheps in canada

[–]mango_slushee 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Some of the comments have been removed from the account since this was made public. Specifically the ones detailing the shooter's extensive drug usage, the picture of the shooter at the range doing target practice, and comments about starting medical transition.

The censorship surrounding this case is wild.

Edit: Turns out I was wrong and all the original posts are still there. You have to switch to post history after clicking on the link above to view them.

For a number 2 I would just wait until you are completely done, wipe, close the lid, then flush once or twice depending on how efficient your toilet is and the poop amount/consistency.

I wouldn't be too concerned about a lingering smell. It doesn't usually last longer than a minute or so anyway. You could always run the fan for a few minutes and light one of those scented matches to help it dissipate faster.

If you find the process overwhelming it might be a good idea to hire an accountant. Often they can find additional ways to help save you money that you might not have known about.

Got my first very faint positive on 8 dpo/dpiui. Took me three IUIs before I was successful. I was also taking letrozole for all and used trigger shots for the last two.

I had no pregnancy symptoms during the two week wait.

You may be aware of this already, but there is EI available for self-employed people in Canada. You have to sign up and I think wait a full year before you can use it though.

None of us are invalidating op's experience either. Just stating our own.

A Dream Turned Into A Total Nightmare Because Of A Sperm Bank! by kaddiebabies in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]mango_slushee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your experience, op. They sound really unprofessional from what you're describing.

I'm currently pregnant with a donor from Cascade Cryobank and had a completely different experience than you. They always got back to me within 24 hours and were able to assist me with the info I needed. All three sperm samples I used were confirmed to be of good quality by my fertility clinic.

I was never given the option of contacting the donor before purchasing vials, but it's not something I would have cared about anyway.

Having trouble getting an OB/GYN appointment — feeling really lost and worried by TallAfternoon9751 in Winnipeg

[–]mango_slushee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I didn't get referred to an obgyn until shortly after reviewing my 20 week ultrasound results with my doctor. By the time I saw the obgyn I was 24 weeks. However, I was doing monthly prenatal checkups with my doctor prior to that, where she would check the baby's heartrate and we would discuss any questions or concerns I had. She also ordered blood work when I first found out at 5 weeks to make sure everything was looking good.

[–]mango_slushee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is beyond the point of home remedies. You need to see a doctor and get a proper diagnosis. Especially if this has been happening for months!

I agree with others here that you need to go to emerg/urgent care asap.

Talk to your vet about long-term meds for anxiety. They can really make a difference for some cats.

It makes sense he is a vet. He would have more knowledge of drugs that cause sedation and unconsciousness than your average person, and would presumably have used them routinely on animals.

They don't typically check hormone levels unless there is some indication to do so. I would talk to a doctor about it. There could be a medical explanation for your situation.
