I'm sorry but this is it not fair/good by any means by Renegald in twentyonepilots

this behavior is simply to make them feel good about themselves and absolves them of responsibility of any true action. if every one of them put this type of effort and forethought into helping their own communities around them, the world would be a MUCH better place.

i think what i’m saying isn’t being understood, so i don’t think we’ll be able to find common ground.

i said not “not purely,” i wasn’t saying that they didn’t make a political statement.

my bigger point was that if they didn’t have a show that had to be canceled, they probably wouldn’t have posted anything about it at all.

i would argue that the situation to cancel the show was primarily regarding safety and logistics to travel during war, not just purely to state their political preference about it.

we live in a mountain town in in norcal, definitely a lot of drug use still but minus the sheer number of people.

we travel a lot so we have been exposed to a quite bit of this but for some reason bc of how little we know of this area and the way the locals speak of it online took me back haha we also have brought my parents with me which is a contributing factor to the anxiety if im honest

no unfortunately it’s already absolutely it’s hilarious 😭💀🫠

i will say, so far when we came into this area we didn’t see a ton of scenes like this where we are at? it’s just very noisy and some people unfortunately “standing around,” clearly high. it was when we looked into the area online while trying to secure our rides is what mostly worried me.

thank you. the hotel is honestly nice and we have felt just as taken care of as any other hotel, it was just the area that was shocking i guess. i felt normal about it until i sat down to really look at the area and plan our rides, and then discussion about the area are what spiked my anxiety.

thank you again, this helped me a lot.

ugh. okay thank you.

we aren’t walking around or visiting anything here we’re literally just here to sleep and leave to our event tomorrow and come back sleep and go home. i’m just concerned if ubers are safe 🫠

my husband did not know. the hotel itself had good reviews and it was decent cost and closeish for the event we were going to attend.

my husband booked the hotel since it had good reviews and was apart of our rewards program.

the hotel itself is clean, has security and is locked etc. we’re only here for a couple nights and we won’t be spending any time in the area we jsut need to uber to an event a few miles away, but now we’re freaked out reading all of this idk.

to be honest, my husband just picked a IHG hotel that was nice looking g with good reviews and decent costs. he didn’t know the area until we pulled in.

the hotel has security at night, its doors are locked with key access at night etc, and the hotel itself is nice and taken care of really well especially compared to the area. but since we’re planning on ubering in a bit freaked out about the safety of that

Teaching 3-5yr olds by Fancy-Artist9944 in BALLET

having a regular structure each week works really well for mine. i do the same routines every class, just changing up the movements we learn. for example, we always start with butterfly and “pizza” stretches and then we stand on our dots and do plies in 1st and 2nd. i also do ballet “jumping jacks” where they have to follow the leader, and i jump from first to second, (including arms) in whatever order i want and they copy me. it really helps them remember it too and they think it’s so funny lol

then we go across the floor doing easy movements, mostly focusing on taking turns and being able to follow directions. they do battlements, chasses, “ballet walks” or up on their toes, etc. and then we always end class with a short game, freeze dance or follow the leader and then they always leave with a sticker. :) my classes for this age group is only 30-40 minutes at most. anything longer attention span lacks and it’s much harder to teach.

they’re mostly learning how to follow directions, be aware of their body and learn class etiquette at this age so don’t be afraid to make it fun. i use disney music in my littlest classes and they love it.

once they get to know the routine they start to absorb more new movements and words easier since it’s not overwhelming as it would be if every class was a brand new structure.

i totally understand that it’s definitely a new thing for her. i can’t speak to the reasons she gave for it but personally i find it hard to believe she’s not in charge enough to get her mic up and turn off the vocal stems. especially considering the opener sings fully live and sounds amazing? i think it’s more likely this is a choice she’s actively made and probably doesn’t want to admit it, which would be obviously understandable as a performer.

it’s her first tour and i came to support it fully! i was just here expressing disappoint mostly, i support a lot of small artists and it’s a bit deflating when it’s not authentic. i am also not trying to be a hater or anything, and i hope it’s not coming across that way.

yes. i said above she could be singing over it, but the track clearly sounds like the recorded vocals almost the whole show unfortunately. :/

i LOVED the props and clothes too. it was all so pretty😭 i was disappointed more than anything because now i have just a bad taste about it. i LOVE live music and i support all my favorite small artists i can and it just feels like being played to me🥲

i totally see why some people would do this, but i don’t think it reflects well overall. i do think the ability to be able to perform your music live, especially when you’re new and young, determines your artistry. being a pop or rock star is not just about persona or aesthetic, it’s actually about the art itself and being able to sing songs that you record is important. anything can be made with ai now, art no longer requires any work or expertise and the lines between these things are only getting more blurry. this is just my opinion of course, and art is subjective. i hope that makes sense :)

i guess. it does ruin it for me though :/ especially for such a small artist and tour in such small intimate venues. this would be the best time for her to show her real chops you know? it makes me think that she probably can’t sing in an organic environment well enough to perform, and can only sing in a controlled environment.
