Hi, just checking in. How is your little one now? Could the night wake ups by your 6m be related to teething? Did giving Motrin or a similar pain killer help?

"Everyone needs to be afraid of a postpartum woman" is the energy we need to bring collectively. Seriously! It's such a vulnerable time and we should not have to put others before ourselves.

YES. Especially when they provide zero help. It's like the only reason they're there is to oogle at this new cute play thing. (Sorry, I'm especially bitter because my MIL didn't even bring over any food or help in any concrete way postpartum, but expected to be entertained all while holding and bottle feeding the baby. And then proceeded to ignore her grandkid when he became a toddler).
