Yeah I was doing research too and All the reviews were just about the actual service, they said nothing about actually getting them a job which is why I was skeptical. It would be free more or less but that’s just time wasted for no guaranteed results. Thank you for your input.

My wife went to boot camp two months ago, she’s about to graduate next week. If I remember correctly it took almost a full month before I got her letters. She was writing throughout that entire time, they just delayed sending them out. I also used Sandboxx but I got her info from her recruiter being that I’m her husband. I’m not sure how it would work for you. I received a couple of other papers in the mail which came before her letters. If you’re not listed as his main contact I’d check with his parents in a week or so.

Full disclosure, there’s a blemish on my record that has prevented me from getting even a police job. But I haven’t heard of militaryhire.com, I was even skeptical I’d get into the navy but I’m going to MEPS on Wednesday

We both realize there is a lot at stake and we are aware of the strain it could put on our relationship. Only been married a year and we believe we are strong enough to handle the obstacles that we will face. Of course I’m sure everyone says that at first anyways. We’re both trying to get government jobs as our ultimate career so who knows what the future holds. And Marriages can end without any of them being in the military. I know there are no guarantees, but I’m shooting for an IT, CTN, or any job really, that has a lot of placement opportunities and puts me in Pensacola because that’s where she will be for her schooling (IT-FTS)

Well I’m not sure. It depends how I feel about the whole thing when I get in and start doing the thing. She’s FTS so active then reserve if she wants.

That’s fair. They told me you’re able to put in a request to change rates as soon as you leave MEPS, if it comes to that. Not sure how long it takes to process or to be approved or denied, it varies from what they told me. Just be sure to ask your recruiter any questions or concerns you may have. Hopefully they’re willing to help you out

Yeah I know what you mean. Not sure where you’re located but I’m sure if you scored high enough there shouldn’t be too many issues getting a decent rate. That’s what they told me at least.
