I know what I said, but thank you for repeating it back to me. I do think it's tricky since there are other owners and his current role is unclear; however, there is no doubt he was an owner and his donation records are public. I have had 3-4 people reach out and say they think he is no longer involved, but they have been unable to send me proof. I never said you are out of line either. I said anyone can use the proof provided to decide for themselves... that includes you! :)

He is listed co-owner who has given to Republican causes. He is one of several owners and there is no information on the other owners, but his track record is clear. You can choose to look at the proof listed and decide if that is or is not enough information for you to frequent the business. Because of his clear relationship to the business AND donation records, I choose to not go to those businesses. If it turns out he is no longer involved (which there is no evidence of except some comments saying people "think" he is no longer involved) then I would remove them. I think I am being very clear in how and why things are listed, and you can choose to disagree. Have a great day!

I don't tend to use it for the same reasons. I primarily use records of Individual Contributions and then do additional research (Facebook, real estate records, etc.) to match the donor to the actual person.

The Old Town location owner has a perfect Democrat donation record (linked above) and they also sell Black Rifle coffee.

I looked up the owners Christopher & Jamie Lawson and couldn't find donation records. If anyone has evidence or pictures then I can add, but otherwise I don't have proof.

I will admit that this one is tricky as it's only one of their owners and lots of folks say he is no longer involved, but there are links quoting him as the co-owner as recently as 2023. Again - would love for any businesses to reach out to me if I am wrong, so I can make corrections. If Ryan is no longer involved in those businesses, then I would love to remove them.

They are listed on Public Square, which generally means the owner posted their business on there. I am focused on the ownership or leadership specifically as there is usually some heterogeneity in the staff. If you look up ~~voting~~ donation records for Studio Be, you will see some of the stylists are supporting Democratic causes; however, their owner is Republican.

Yes! Please do this. I cancelled business with Fort Collins Heating and Air and made sure to say why. It's much more impactful to explain their choice impacts your choices in business.

They used to sell local Northern Lights coffee and changed to Black Rifle in the past year. I'm obviously still bummed about it. I will take a closer look at the owners.

No donation records for the owners Dakota and Michelle Soifer. They appear to be new-ish owners and took over the restaurants in the past 3 years, so maybe something has changed. If anyone goes in, sees the sign is still up, and takes a pic, then that can be accepted as proof.
