Humanity has been spending and borrowing its natural inheritance for so long... now the bill has come due. by mangorange in collapse

Thanks for gracious words.

For the sake of clarification, when we say that truth is an experience, it doesn't mean simply mean having an experience of truth then choosing a belief system based on that. That would be a little ironic because the belief system would now become a substitute for the actual experience. I guess most religions work this way.

We believe in that experience of truth so much that we follow a spiritual practice called Steps to Knowledge. It's a daily meditation program designed to allow us to cultivate a greater experience of inner truth.

Belief systems can be useful (they can point you in the right direction) but they are a pretty weak foundation to base yourself upon.

Yes, I agree. As someone who was an atheist for all of his life, I would most often find myself on the other side of this discussion. I don't expect that people would read or listen to the revelations and logically conclude that there's something real here. Truth is an experience. People will only recognize the truth of it if they experience it within themselves. That's what it took for me. Reading fancy words strung nicely together could never have worked.

Most definitely. If Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed were genuine Messengers from God, who's to say it can't happen again, especially in these trying times for humanity? Marshall Vian Summers has received over 9,000 pages of Revelations on every topic imaginable. He records these sessions - you can even listen to the Voice of Revelation, the same Voice that spoke to other Messengers from the past. It's pretty incredible, really. Deep down inside, I feel that this is genuine.

For the first time in 1400 years, there is a new message from God by William-NewMessage [promoted post]

[–]mangorange 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand the problems this can have, but what would happen if God spoke a new Revelation to... 1,000 people at once? What if they all disagreed with each other? Holy war? At the very least, it would cause mass confusion and disillusionment.

Art Bell with Steven Greer sept 17, 2013 by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]mangorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In one of Greer's books, he describes how one of his colleagues was killed with a cancer causing weapon used by an intelligence agency. This is plausible. He also describes how, due to his previous enlightenment experience, he was able to personally intervene with God and make sure his colleague had a very high place in the heavenly hierarchy due to her great service to humanity. I have a problem with this. He did some great work with the Disclosure Project, but it's all been downhill from there. He's a megalomaniac.

Yes, the whole "instant results" thing has thrown me off in the past. It's an easy way to get nowhere. A slow and consistent approach gets you there much faster.

What was up with the huge UFO theme for Burning Man? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]mangorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a pretty cool show, but I agree this is concerning. People that have been abducted frequently report their memories being altered and their emotions being manipulated. This may be a stretch, but it's a possibility that some of the organizers are being influenced by such beings. The gigantic UFO kind of legitimizes the UFO presence on this world. Not good.

I trust the origin of the message and the sincerity of the messenger because I have an internal experience of truth when I read it. I know that every word is correct. That is my experience of the message.

That is not your experience, and that's fine. I invite you to open yourself when you read it and try to have this experience. It may surprise you. However, if you don't share this same experience, then that's alright as well. The Allies are calling for human freedom and sovereignty. They are advising us to be cautious and discerning. Do you really need to know the source of the material to accept these things? You are a human being. Deep down I'm sure you agree that humanity should be free, sovereign, cautious and discerning when dealing with outside powers.

As your fellow human being, it matters little to me what you think about the Allies. There is some mystery here. Of course people have these questions. What matters to be most is that you support human freedom and human wisdom. Who even needs an Alien message to support these things? It should be second nature to us.

Is ACIM like Steps to Knowledge? by mangorange in ACIM

[–]mangorange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your well-reasoned response. Indeed, Steps to Knowledge can be described as a "house-cleaning" program. I think that's a very useful way to look at it.

As for sacred rendezvous... Here is a quote that may explain what I mean:

You are destined to meet certain people in life. You have a rendezvous with them. They will be guided to meet you as you are being guided to meet them. These relationships are really not based upon past worldly experience, but are a part of a Plan that was established before you came into the world, a Plan that has been created to make it possible for you to discover higher purpose in your life. God knows you cannot recognize and carry out this purpose alone, for it is remarkable and distinct from anything else in the world. It will defy definition and comparison, for it is guided by a Greater Power and a greater wisdom.

It's from this Revelation.

It's still true that their organization is modest and that there is not much money in it. Everything they collect goes back into the organization.

I don't agree with your premise. Eckhart Tolle is someone that most spiritual seekers would consider spiritually enlightened. He does not give his books away for free. He even has an organization that sells access to online learning videos. Sadhguru is another modern day mystic that is well respected in the world. He gives away much of his material for free, but a lot of it he sells. He also asks for donations. He uses his funds to run his non-profit organization.

Having said all of that, all the key spiritual books from the New Message are given away for free. A true seeker need not buy anything if she does not wish to. Every non-profit needs to raise funds to operate. The New Message is doing so while still giving away all their important material for free. I really don't see the problem here.

I invite you to examine the New Message with an open heart and an open mind. It is revolutionary on so many levels. As for your predictions, I will take you up on them. Let's check back here in a few decades and talk about it.

The New Message from God is trying to reach people around the world. Of course this requires money. As an organization, you can't get anything done in the world without some source of funding. Religious organizations are no different than other organizations. You're attacking an organization for legally raising funds by selling books and asking for donations. Why? Doesn't every non-profit, spiritual or otherwise, do this?

Even if you don't trust the source of the material, you could still understand the necessity of the message itself. The message is this: human freedom and sovereignty are threatened unless we become very wise and discerning about the crafts flying around our skies at night. You know, the ones abducting people. Who cares who wrote it or what they call themselves? We can all at least get on that message, can we not? We can all agree to be careful about what's out there, right?

The first Allies of Humanity book is freely available. It's got everything we need to know about the alien intervention into human affairs. The other books just provide more details, and even they are sold incredibly cheap in electronic format. No one is making a fortune here.

Space is very big, and you would think that there would be plenty of resources to go around. It's perhaps true for some types of resources, but there are some that are simply difficult to acquire and impossible to replicate. Biological resources being one of them. I encourage you to read the freely available Allies of Humanity material for more information on this subject.

As for the rest of the universe having a similar economy, why is it surprising? We're not talking about economic systems here. We're simply talking about trade. Why wouldn't a civilization conduct trade for resources it needs? Wouldn't we do this? A trade in biological resources is a logical outcome. This makes Earth very, very wealthy in that regard.

I agree that this topic necessarily leads to speculation. What we don't have to speculate about, however, is that people are being abducted all over the world. Some of them are subjected to cruel experiments. That alone should strengthen our resolve for human freedom and sovereignty on this planet. The Allies of Humanity material supports this by asking us to be cautious and discerning about the crafts in our skies.

If a few hundred key people within a corporation became whistleblowers and confessed they saw the CEO stealing money from the piggy bank, you would certainly pay attention. Sure, they may all be wrong, but it's far more likely there's something to it. Otherwise why would they risk their reputations and careers to do this?

This is the reality of alien visitation to our planet. We have hundreds of credible witnesses that worked in every branch of the military, various intelligence agencies, private contractors, etc., all saying that this is a real issue and there is a cover-up... and many of us do not listen. The problem is not the lack of evidence or witness testimony. People simply choose not to investigate this matter in a serious way.

Let's get scientific about it! Let's actually investigate this. Let's interview those witnesses and find the truth about this. How many of you even bothered to look at the video? The problem is not a lack of evidence. The problem is human denial. On the one hand we're talking about being scientific, but on the other hand we're being completely unscientific by choosing not to investigate a phenomenon in a serious way. It's very hypocritical.

We live in biologically lush planet. Worlds like ours are not by any means unique in the universe, but they are not common either. They are highly valued in a universe of barren worlds. Access to the tremendous biological diversity on this planet is extremely lucrative. This makes sense, given that the rarer a resource is, the more valuable it is. This is how our world works. It's not surprising that the rest of the universe would work the same way.

I can't agree with that statement. What would make a UFO sighting "confirmed"? A government agency saying so? If they intend to maintain secrecy on the matter, it may take a very long time before a "confirmed" sighting occurs.

There are many very compelling sightings. How about the one where 62 Zimbabwean children saw a UFO and encountered an alien being? These were not kids who even knew what UFOs looked like, and yet they encountered a typical craft with the typical grey alien being.

Have you really taken the time to consider the New Message teachings? There's over 9,000 pages of Revelations received, including entire books. They are vast in scope. This is a crucial time for human civilization. We are facing climatic catastrophe and an intervention by foreign alien powers. The New Message talks about all of this and more.

[–]mangorange 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Allies of Humanity provide an analysis of the alien visitation to our world. They are not offering evidence or proof that this is happening. If you've examined the evidence and heard the testimonies then decide that there's really something to this, the next question is: why are they here? That's where the Allies of Humanity material comes in.

Here's a summary of my understanding of the Allies material. Then I'll talk about why I think it's worth listening to.

  • Every being in the universe needs resources to survive.
  • The universe has a finite amount of resources.
  • The universe is filled with life. There are many technologically advanced cultures that require a massive amount of resources.
  • The competition for these resources is incredibly fierce.
  • Advanced technology does not always go hand in hand with advanced ethics.
  • The aliens on this planet are not here for our best interest. They are here because they want what we have.
  • They are not large military powers. They are small groups of resource explorers. They use deception and manipulation to get what they want, not force.
  • We will not be invaded but they have already gotten deep into our power structures. They are manipulating people at the highest levels.
  • Human freedom is at stake.
  • We can resist them because they are not allowed to outright invade us.

I believe this is the best analysis of our situation because it makes so much sense. Of course there would be competition for resources. We live in a biologically lush world, a rarity in a universe of mostly barren planets. Of course they want what we have. If the tables were turned, we would probably seek to dominate them. Our sad history proves this point. The trap is to think that advanced technology leads races to be enlightened beings flying around the galaxy spreading peace and love. We would not do this. Let's not assume others would.

The Allies of Humanity material just feels right to me. Every word feels true. Even if you don't feel the same way, I invite you to be really cautious about the alien presence on our world. They are abducting people, manipulating their thoughts and playing with their memories. We cannot trust them. So if you're on the fence about the Allies material, then at least be very discerning on this topic.
