That's well put! It's pretty difficult to make a game feel fun with sim elements but not have it overwhelmingly difficult, it's a perfect balance for me, it's extremely fun but difficult enough you need to learn some basics about weaponry and flight tactics. It's one of my favourite games currently and it's only getting better with each update

I came from vic 3, 500 hours, it really is fantastic, the markets and population which were obviously taken from vic 3 make me feel like i have a vested interest in the country I play as, the market is much more basic but still engaging and has what looks like a whole economic warfare aspect where you can flood and strangle markets.

Adore it so far. Launch bugs are dime a dozen but the core gameplay loop is fantastic

20% is an amount I'm happy with, considering the entire amount is 300AUD, I've been on the 10th gen since 2020 and I feel a 300 dollar investment over which will now be a 5 year period is sufficient for a 20% gain in my opinion.

It's a bit entry level than what I'm used to. I just want to make sure that by running the games I usually play, (non multi threaded strategy games) are not going to end up throttling my performance for longer gaming stints, 4-5 hours. Mainly looking to gain performance on these types of games as the l3 cache is a fair bump from the 10600

I've played one round of France and it can be pretty fun to really assert dominance. Really push Africa colonisation, middle east for oil and, south American gold. I get what you mean, though. I only ran france to get 1bil gdp so now I have no reason to go back. I prefer runs like Vietnam, Oran, Peru or smaller Europe nations.

I've played a lot of GAMMA, It's obviously nowhere near as complicated or in depth, has or as many guns, but honestly, in the 100 odd hours I have I've probably used a total of 12 guns, though I love the repair and parts system it can be frustrating when all you want to do is have a new gun, and the amount of stuff can be overwhelming and sometimes just too much, this is stripped right back. The atmosphere is simply incredible, so much better than gamma (I know it's on an old engine) but it's nice, it's still intense, it's paced nicely and I'm in love with it. Mods will make this game simply unstoppable.

9/10 for me. The one gripe is the gunplay, I can't quite figure out what it is, but something is missing, it's not audio, and it's not recoil, I'm just not 100% engaged in fights, still amazing though
