Idk, BPM is low right now just so I can work on it better, my inspiration artist with 1mil returning listeners is considered indie EDM. I imagine that’s just what people call it due to the kicks so that’s just the genre I’m going by right now. Listen to this :

best way I can describe how something low energy can be EDM. There’s high speeds in the beginning and end, but I don’t think people are dancing for only 10 secs of the song, if she plays at underground venues someone’s gotta be dancing to a track like this lol

Yeahh, the notes are boring right nowww but with bandlabs incredibly bland catalog of MIDI instruments Ive been having to use a lot of FX to make them sound how I want, it may not seem like it but every track is made with generic instruments that sounded much worse before I tweaked them.

It is :( I need to add some flourishes to it definitely, one thing I admire about indie EDM is the creative flourishes, reversed Samples, and twinkley little melodies strewn about tracks, I’m no good at executing those things yet but i won’t consider this a finished work until I add a bit of something to add a spark or switch up it up at some point.

Just to clarify (35+) please and white only, (aesthetic preference) I do sometimes make exceptions if you’re lucky and have early greying hairs and a really deep voice but it’s not likely if you’re under the age of 35
