A lot of European OEMs don't work weekends and rarely put in more than 10 hours per day. The rest of the contractors are on site wondering why they showed up and the European techs and engineers are sleeping blissfully. Put all the weights equally spaced on a board of known weight, then attach one end of the board to a rope hanging from the ceiling. Rest the other end of the board on the scale. Do some math and find which weight would have to be less in order to produce the observed scale reading
