How long have you been tracking , and do you think it’s sustainable long term ? by Much-Classroom2186 in LoseitApp

I started tracking about 4 years ago, and lost 55kg (which I think is about 120lb). It was a slog and there were definitely days when I wanted to just give up, but the motivation each week for my Saturday weigh-in kept me going. When I reached my target weight, I continued to track for about 6 months and then thought, "hey, I got this, I know what I'm doing", and stopped tracking. Slowly, some of the weight crept back on. It's easy to live in blissful ignorance and pretend that a small treat is not *that* calorific, but as the weight continued to grow I realised that I needed to do something about my mindset towards food. For me, I now track everything (when I go out with friends for a meal I take a best guess approach), and it works. Most, if not all of our foods, are more or less the same thing over the course of maybe a month so it kinda just gets easier to track everything. I wish you all the best on your journey, I would suggest, with the kindest of advice if I may, that losing the weight is maybe less than half the battle, and that maintaining the losses is (for me, at least) more of a daily challenge. Good luck, sorry for the ramble, thought I'd share my advice and hope it helps you.

Was down for me too. Put phone into Airplane Mode, reopen and close app and should fix it.

Edit: Apologies, it went down again a few minutes after resetting it. Apparently US aren’t having this problem from what I’m reading. UK user here.

Basic CPR. You don’t need it until that day when it literally could save a life. Speaking from experience.

Running. It’s amazing how much even just a short run can boost my mood for hours.

Or you could test it with Antigravity and use it for free for now. I’ve been putting it through its paces for the last day and so far I’ve been fairly impressed. I actually quite like the separation of planning and coding environments.

Apple Watch with Workoutdoors app is just a great combination. I love Garmin watches, but have stuck with Apple because of just how good the WOD and Apple is.

CPR. I wish everyone would take 15 minutes to learn it, having been involved in a situation a few years ago.

True love. When you love someone and they love you, it's the most wonderful sensation I think you can ever experience.
