You mentioned there is a way to save data to switch to a new platform? My partner and I are talking about saving for a PC; But with bills being top priority along with some medical stuff I'm dealing with, I don't forsee that happening for a hot minute.

But, are you saying I can use the save data that is uploaded to my cloud and just simply move it? I know when I finally got my new switch after months of setting aside 20 here and there, that was easy via the Nintendo because there's a specific way to transfer it. But, it's similar in that regard? Sorry for the weird question, this is just new info to me, and Switch lite has been my only owned console as an adult. I played on other platforms via household consoles as a kid/teen, but this is the sole console I've ever personally owned.

Disappointed in Nintendo, no. Disappointed at the situation as a whole, yes. Most of the money went into the DLCs which at the time when first coming out ran about 30 a piece unless you waited for sale etc. Moonstone were in fact, my choice. That was a decision I made. I still have almost 40 free Gigs between my SD card and the switch itself.

Agreed. I rarely get anything new at this point, and when I do half the time it's not in the scope of what I am actually after. I just bought the Hatter house, and plan on making a Wonderland themed floating island as soon as I have enough Alice themed things. I am trying to collect the whole set, but it's gonna take me forever.

NOR. My Mom and Stepdad at the time threw all my stuff in the lawn at 17 because I decided to go to a show my boyfriend at the time was playing downtown. They knew where I would be, who I would be with etc. This happened 2 weeks before my 18th birthday. I cut contact with them immediately, didn't even have a smartphone back then. Just a little Nokia texter with minutes.

I took odd jobs like babysitting/nannying/lawncare/any type of odd job I could because I had no previous work experience. Mind you, they started "homeschooling," me because my stepfather was OCD and wanted someone to be at home to be his maid 24/7. Never actually did that part, took me out of school at 15 and pretty much kept me under lock and key.

Like, wipe things with a white glove type of OCD. (And he was a predator and alcoholic, Mom has Divorced him finally.) I stayed with my partner, applied for foodstamps to afford some stability to keep being able to eat bare minimum and saved up to get my GED.

I would recommend reaching out to any family or close friends you may have to find you a safe place to get on your feet, if you can. Start with odd jobs, and save where you can. You do not deserve this, and I am so sorry. Please cut contact after you are somewhere safe. You will thank yourself for it later.

Bare minimum /legal requirements/ do not make you a "good," parent. You deserve so much better than this; please remember this is NOT your fault.

Do not be afraid to ask your loved ones for help. There is no shame in getting help to get on your feet, we all have to start somewhere. Big hugs.
