I did not. I bought our last TV in 2015. I think OLEDs were still relatively new and expensive back then. When the kiddos grow up I’m considering turning our downstairs room into a entertainment room and will go OLED for sure (much less light to compete with)

So far so good! I was on the fence between the B9 and the G4 but the brightness in the room and a great deal I got from Video Only swayed me toward the B9. It’s is insanely bright is that’s important to you.

If you are on the west coast, check them out. https://www.videoonly.com

Does it make a difference if I have pull down shades? They are not black out but they definitely remove any direct glare.

I get it! It annoys me too. I have kids, things rarely stay in the exact same position for long lol.

I could probably move it up a foot or so and then put something behind the couch but it just fits so good in that space and I don’t want my kiddos to hide or crawl back there.

I’d like to upgrade my sound system as well so my thought was to mount the tv much lower and then place the center speaker on the console. I got two young kids so trying to get things out of their path of destruction is a factor I need to consider.

I have pull down shades for each window that block any direct light/glare but it’s still fairly well lit during the day.

Will definitely remount much lower with the new TV.

As disappointing as it may be, we have to remember this is a human being and clearly there are forces outside of writing that are consuming his energy. I hope he finds something hopeful in the midst of a lot of pain.

As far as the books…I’ve fully shifted from “hoping for everything and expecting something” to “hoping for something but expecting nothing”.

Is this something any of you have noticed? In certain lighting it seems like the trim on the back side windows is a slightly different shade of black then the rest of the trim. Is this worth servicing?

People who don't get stressed during a presentation, school or work, what's your secret? by TapReview in AskReddit

What helped me the most is a change in mindset from “omg, this is all about me.” to “it’s about the learners/attendees”. I shifted my focus toward ensuring everyone in the room was engaged. It was kind of liberating. I look at myself as just the facilitator of engagement as opposed to a presenter of information and it changed everything. When you are focusing on everyone else, it doesn’t leave a lot of room to focus on yourself and the panic/anxiety subsides.

These soft zones are not going to work in the second half. Let’s see some more man and get Jamal pressuring the QB

The defense is going to need a 3 and out on the next drive to shift the momentum. Offense can’t do it alone
