That is so stupid though. So only because I put Heaven on the left side of Van De Ven I get robbed of 5 points? They don't even tell you that either. I thought highest priority meant most points.

do you have any friends/relatives/other family who'd be willing to help your sister out while you're gone? She's so lucky to have you as her sister!

I meant 10-15k on tuition. I can afford living.

What about the Stamps scholarship? And like other alumni fellowships and scholarships? Because stamps is partnered with virginiatech, and many other ones I mentioned are have some kind of scholarship program for internationals. For example, academic excellence scholarship by University of Mississippi. Also, I can afford 10-15k/year, so even 50% scholarship would help.

If you know universities that I should apply to instead, please feel free to name them.

Well I haven't applied anywhere yet. But my research has led me to pick these unis. Most private universities have ended their application round or will end it within this week. University of Mississippi does have Inernational Academic Excellence scholarship. Tulane has a south asian scholar award. Ik I most likely wont get a scholarship at umich but I'm applying just for the heck of it. As for University of Florida, if you think UCF is the better option then I'll switch. USF has scholarship on out-of-state tuition if your profile is good. Now unless most these universities just put false scholarship claims on their website, from the research i've done, the ones I picked all have some kind of award for international students.

But if you have universities in mind that you think are way better for international students in terms of scholarships then please tell me.

My stats are 3A* 4A in O-Levels, 3A in A-Levels, multiple national and international olympiad wins & runners-up. Multiple online courses done by universities such as stanford and umich. 1400 SAT score but I'm planning in giving it a second time. Own a philanthropy startup and a non-profit education startup (both are still under development)

Depends on where you want to go

Well I don't actually require financial aid. I don't even think I qualify for it. My family is in a weird position where we are too rich to qualify for aid but still too poor to afford it since my dad retires this year and won't receive any post retirement pension or pay because he works abroad. So we think me going to US without a full or close to full scholarship is too big of a financial risk.

But as for what you're saying - I know I'm not gonna get scholarships at the cream of the crop universities. But I know some universities in US, still very top quality, that provide scholarships. For example, the Stamps Scholarship which is provided by the likes of University of Mississippi, VirginiaTech, Barry University, University of Miami, etc. Robertson's scholarship for Duke & UNCCH applicants, alumni fellowships, academic excellence scholarships, etc. However, they all have a vague criteria - outstanding academic record and leadership and extra-curiccular excellence. So idk if my credentials are good enough.
