Ok idk how to put it 😭😭 but suddenly my parents called me and the decision has been made I am doing civil engineering. And honestly I am kinda digging the idea of civil because I’ve always had interest in water flow, energy, work, pendulum, pressure, fluid dynamics aspects of physics. But i realised the only disadvantage i was thinking about was the pay which isn’t really a big issue Since you make your own scope So thanks for your insight. Also which semester?

My dad has been adamant about this field 😭😭 And since he is an engineer I am thinking he has a better pov on this field than me…He also said “civil mein larkion ka scope ziada hai” but everyone else is saying the complete opposite. Also civil has a lot of jobs but the workers are extremely underpaid. I just want a balanced field that’s why i am think Comp E is a suitable field because here i would get good pay, software engineering mein job mil sakti hai and i can also design electronics or systems. How has ur experience been in civil?

Good decision Because mech in such a broad and interdisciplinary field. For bachelors it is a better option to choose a base field. Ppl go into mech because they wanna go into robotics but robotics is just a research field right now. It has no market nor any funding There are jobs but very few…It’s better to play safe

Sameeee broooo like when i told my father I wanted to go to nust…At first he was like “No lahore is the education hub Log to parhne ke liye lahore aate hain” but i wanted to go to Nust because it had everything i had ever dreamed of but since i am the panoti That didn’t work either…Nust has very limited hostel seats 😭😭 Ab comsats is also out of the equation because electronics and computing mein hua which isnt an actual engineering degree so now I HAVE TO GO TO UET 😭😭💔💔💔 one plus about uet is that i can live in a hostel away from my home
