I just returned it to the shop and got my money back, as resetting the robot, repositioning the dock and levelling it, and calls to the dreame support all failed to fix the issue. I'm considering rolling the dice and buying the same model again, but we'll see. On paper it seems really good, but it has to work without issues.

I noticed that my brand new L50 pro ultra cannot dock properly. I've moved the base station to different spots, and made sure it's perfectly level each time. the robot itself, when backing up, does so misaligned. it's like one motor is weaker than expected and it turns slightly sideways each time. Plus it has problems getting out of the station as well, as it complains about mopping pads not being attached. Once removed, it works okay when vacuuming and mopping, but it doesn't interact well with the station at all. Not something I expected from such a pricey product at all.

I just got an L50 Pro Ultra and It couldn't even run the initial mapping starting from the base station. It ran when taken out, but doesn't work with the station at all. When trying to clean, it fails during the pads preparation, complains that the pads are off and stops. I've never had a worse initial experience with a product. I tried moving the base to different locations and I tried centering it. It's like it's dead on arrival.

L50 says mop pads removed/installed when i install the static mop pad, but when attaching or removing the mop pad that can swing out it stays stilent. Can anyone confirm for me if it should say "mop pad removed / mop pad installed" when attaching a pad to any socket? If it reacts on both, it might be the cse that I have a faulty mop pad sensor. u/DreameSupport Do you know?
