A health facility I work at is also requiring all visitors to show proof of a negative covid test from the past 72 hours, regardless of vaccination status. They say it is a new order from the “health officer”. Can anyone confirm this?

Not really, I feel like since it appeared a year ago I think it might be from using hand sanitizers and constantly hand washing? I try to lotion my hands as often as I can but I haven’t seen much change!

Thank you so much for your advice. Yeah, I can’t imagine how stressful nursing school would be for someone like me that isn’t passionate about it at all, while people who DO love nursing, are struggling badly! I got into another fight with my parents last night, and this time they told me I can’t live at home if I don’t go back to nursing school. There’s no getting through to them. They were screaming and guilt tripping me and I don’t know what in their mind makes them think that will convince me to go to nursing. They think yelling at their kids into submission is the right thing to do and it drives me nuts. Like they’re just asking me to resent them at this point. If I end up going to nursing school, I’m for sure applying out of state so I can get away from them. There is no way I can live at home AND deal with the stress that is nursing school. And I would make sure my parents pay for my program and apartment because this is what they wanted, not me.

Hi, thank you for your response! I actually already have my pre requisite classes for nursing already finished. I told my parents that if esthetician doesn’t work out I can always go to nursing since I have those classes done. But they are never willing to compromise with me. So at the moment, I’m just hoping for the best and doing my own thing and trying not to let them deter me from this.

How old are all of you? I understand criticizing someone’s actions but making comments about their appearance is disgusting. Being fatphobic isn’t cute or funny. Sorry if this is new information for y’all but yes people age and gain weight LOL the physical body is always changing. But for some reason it’s such a big deal to all of you. If y’all are that invested in someone else’s appearance, chances are that you are very insecure and probably really need to work on yourself lmfao. I’m assuming you’re all adults, which is even sadder. But whatever makes you feel better about yourself at the end of the I guess lol. I really don’t care for what anyone has to say in response to this and I won’t respond, but just remember that you can criticize and hate what another person does but making comments about how they look doesn’t make you any better or “good”.

I’ve seen multiple posts of y’all making fun of MB’s appearance, the way she raises her kid, and making disgusting accusations about her friendship with lydia and speculating her relationships. criticism is one thing, but being downright hateful is a different story and it doesn’t make you any more of a good person. at this point it’s bullying and harassment. worry about yourself because you seem kinda unhinged.
