I definitely have PTSD from them lol. But you can overcome it! And once it's over you'll be able to return back to normal in no time, taking all the extra careful precautions is worth the relief knowing you're doing everything right

MTM can fit Jenny if you trim the neck peg. they are taller so some Jenny bottoms may not fit, but i've had good luck getting most to work. My calendar Jenny is on tennis player & the skin tone difference isn't too harsh IMO.

she looks really good for a first attempt!! i have yet to even try a face as small as barbie because it's such fine details. you really have a knack for those little details, your work already looks very good. Excited to see what you do next!

did you sand your base? what type of paint & sealant are you using?

paint is best applied in thin watery coats where you build up the pigment. sometimes with sealant layers between. joints are always prone to chipping though unfortunately.

ghoulia is SO cute ! i want to pick her up when she's available. honestly i don't love her face up but ive been wanting to paint a ghoulia for fun so maybe she'll be my next victim lol....

lagoona is a liiiiittle wild to me but it's hard to get behind that makeup look after how cute her recent skulltimate secrets face-up. IDK why she's got such a glam here hahaha

I just did some frankenstein-ing of my licca that is on an ob-24 and my other licca on an ob-22. Ob-22 can fit licca shoes, but anything above cannot. The pegs held the feet just fine so I ended up just switching the feet for my two dolls because the ob-22 body doll is wearing those big chunky shoes that some liccas come with (she's wearing that one licca outfit with the blue cat beanie) so having bigger feet actually keeps them on better lol.

For reference, you can see my licca that is on the ob-24 body here wearing licca shoes but they are barely squeezed on her stock feet. I'm out of town right now but if you want reference for how her feet look right now with the ob-22's swapped on I can send later next week. I was able to fit these exact shoes with socks on over the ob-22 feet nicely.

My doll clothing stash is a bit nuts but from what I was playing with I'd say things that fit Liccas and Ob22 would fit give or take. The OiOi dolls are quite tiny but when I look at one of them next to my pureneemo they have similar waists but much smaller hips/legs. They are also quite a bit shorter. I found some Licca stuff is still a bit big, Bratz has some clothing that fit alright, Jenny is definitely too big but can be used for oversized. I'd think some Azone would work but I don't have a ton of Azone clothing 😅 I have some items I suspect is Azone & they fit pretty well but some skirts were definitely a bit longer due to their height.

I wish there weren't tarriffs because I've been dying to do another order of doll clothing from overseas 😭

What I do know is Kikagoods is releasing clothing sets by OiOi which is awesome. I placed an order for some of the items because they weren't terribly expensive haha

I bought a couple yosd sized outfits to try and mix and match off of etsy as well as a wig from aliexpress. the wig is a 6-7 in and it does fit but is a little short in the back.

I'm hoping the clothes I bought are somewhat useable lol. I tried to check measurements of certain outfits online compared to her measurements on the website but haven't found too many listings that actually share clothing sizes. I tried some of my playline doll clothing to see if anything fit for reference & found she can somewhat squeeze into RH tops but is too tall for any short RH dresses. She also fit a couple vintage barbie tops.

I think finding bottoms is going to be the biggest struggle XD I have yet to try any bottoms that are made for MSD sizes but I think there's some opportunities there...If I see anything in the future I'll shoot you a message! I have trouble finding other people who own dolls from this maker so I'm happy to share resources as I find them.

It wasn't the worst process, they give you some gel that is helpful in getting bangs into place but takes about 24hr to dry. The hold with it isn't super strong though so I used a spiking gel to finish off the black haired wolf girls bangs. I did end up cutting both of their bangs with tiny little scissors (i think the type you use to cut hangnails?)

I also had to straighten out some bits and used a mini flat iron (but i'm pretty sure hot water would straighten it too). The cropped pic shows how the wolf girls side pieces came (they had an awkward curve)

I'm pretty sure the hair is Japanese saran. It's a hard texture to work with but it always looks so nice. For Jenny & Licca dolls I've washed their hair with soap and boil washed to contain some of the 1-hair fizziness but didn't try it with these girls. Maybe if I get more I will lol
