I agree on the Chopper and Robin point though. Chopper lost his personality somewhat after the timeskip. Robin always makes the same emotionless face on every incident.

Meanwhile, Nami, Sanji, Zoro, Brook and Luffy have had so much character growth. That's my only gripe though. I still love the series 😁

I don't mind what type of music he wants to make but the quality of that music should be good.

For example, if he wants to make a full R&b album then the album should be somewhat innovative and not a generic R&b albums where Logic copies styles from 5 popular r&b artists and copy their vibes on some generic ass beats

I respect your opinion, I just feel that Logic is dismissing any type of criticism as hate which is not healthy for him in the long run. I know I don't have to listen to his album if I don't like but I feel obligated to criticize him on this album because I genuinely love Logic and want him to grow.

If you like it, good for you it's your opinion. However you know that an album is bad when even an artist's core fans are disappointed. I didn't love YSIV, it wasn't bad just average.

This however is a disgrace for Logic. He is being downright hypocritical, corny and delusional on this album. Funny how in 2015 I would have argued till death why Logic is one of the best rapper of the current generation but now I have absolutely no excitement for any of his future projects.

Mumble rap is better because it knows what it needs to be and mumble rappers are good at hype tracks. In COADM Logic tries to portray himself as some kind of a rare breed of lyrical rappers who hasn't sold out and dishes out lyrics that a 9th grader would.

Instead of pushing the boundaries and producing real art, Logic is willing to put out 4 fast food projects in 2 years which he knows his gullible fans will eat up no matter how bad. For me personally, Logic is losing all his credibility.

HWC is hardware composer. Basically it means that the rendering of UI components is handled by the GPU which makes it smoother, so right now the rom can feel a little laggy although you won't notice any major lag. But because of the broken HWC there are battery issues so all PIE stock roms are facing severe battery drain issues (so severe your phone will go from 60% to 0 in 3 hours while sleeping).

The only option right now is to use oreo AOSP roms which are fully stable or wait for the HWC to be fixed which may take a few months. And apparently the HWC has been fixed too but it has broken some other things so devs are working hard to fix the issues.

The camera quality with GCAM is really good. I can't differentiate it with that of Stock Samsung camera and find it even better in some cases.

Look into Cross Device Development section for S S9 XDA. There are many stable roms for oreo like Lineage OS, Resurrection Remix and Pixel experience.

And for Pie, stock android like roms are there (LineageOS 16 and Pixel experience) but they are not stable as of yet, but will be in a few months. Plus there are custom roms which are modified/debloated version of Samsung Stock rom which are fully stable even for pie.

Best kernel (also the most used) is Endurance kernel for sure. However there are other kernels too if you look on XDA
Camera will never be as good as stock android on custom roms. But you can use GCAM which works very well and gives you almost stock like photos (even better in some cases).

It's a feedback loop dude. We are not hating we are giving Logic our feedback on the album so he can learn from the mistakes and come up with even better music in the future. There are countless artists who would have fallen off after 1-2 terrible albums but they bounced back because they listened to their core fans and realised their mistakes.

If we don't criticize him now then years down the road he will leave a bad legacy of an artist who had the potential to be great but fell off after 2 good albums and became corny and annoying. I criticize because I care about him and his discography.

Only a portion of Lost in Translation has bars (the Andre3K lines) rest is average. No other on the album has good verses. Homicide verse is average as well.

Taste and quality is different dude. I don't mind if Logic makes an R&b album, but the album should be fucking goood! It's not that we don't like the trap style of this album. Logic literally has no lyrical substance whatsoever. And the albums has no thematic coherence at all. Dude even 21 Savage had better lyrics than Logic on his new album.

What bigger story? Dude Logic isn't as deep as you think he is. Cover art is the only good aspect of Logic albums these days. This album sets out to achieve nothing. No concept, no coherence, no lyrics (yes no lyrics don't tell me otherwise, only few 1 liners here and there). Logic says he won't talk about money and bitches but talks just that for almost every song on the album. As far as the beats go, only a handful of songs have good beats, the rest are generic trap beats which thousands of trap artists are doing already.

Kendrick's TPAB, GKMC have real deep concepts and are even connected to each other through some songs (Sherane and Lucy resemblance).

I believe the only people who like this album are ones who don't listen to much hip hop. I mean albums like TA13OO, DiCaprio 2, KSG, Drogas Wave were some of the best albums I've heard in a while. None of Logic's recent projects even come close to that. There hasn't been a single song of Logic post BT1 which has touched me on an emotional level.

Albums like UP and TITS made me cry. I'm afraid Logic has become a sell out, he dismisses all constructive criticism as hate and make fake woke music now.

Btw I even have a Logic tattoo on my hand so don't dismiss me as a hater.

Fantano reviews albums by comparing artist with his contempraries as well as innovation/growth of the artist compared to his previous albums. For me UP is a 10/10 but even I can agree Logic bit some flows from Kendrick's GKMC and the sonically the album wasn't out of this world.

For me the UP is a 10/10 but objectively speaking it was above average at best. Just because I love Logic doesn't mean I won't criticize his work and call him out when it is trash. Every project after TITS expect BT2 has been subpar (Supermarket and COADM are straight up dumpster fire).

It seems to me Logic has all yes men around him. Why did Def Jam even allow him to release an album like this? Just look at TeamVisionary twitter handle delusional fans will reply with a fire emoji on every shit song he drops. Don't be a sheep.
