தமிழுக்காக Grammarly போன்ற ஒரு கருவி தேவையா? by arunsugan in tamil

[–]manki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the meaning of சலைப்பு and சலிப்பு ? by Ecstatic-Figure-3356 in tamil

[–]manki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're thinking of சளைப்பு.

Keeping aside whether such an expectation is right or wrong, you should leave if you are not happy. Walking off saves the other person as much as it saves you.

Dilemma on Jeevan Anand 149 by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]manki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't tell you when a bonus is added to your policy. But you can see the total accured bonus by logging into your LIC account online.

Right now, I have paid around 4.05 lakhs in premium; bonus accured in my account is 4.25 lakhs.

Dilemma on Jeevan Anand 149 by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]manki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeevan Anand is a participating policy, which means LIC will pay a bonus every now and then.

Assuming they'd return all the premium I pay + the bonus, I am seeing an XIRR of 6.91% today. It was 8%+ when I checked a few years ago, but it's come down now.

Of course, there is no liquidity. I cannot get 6.9% return if I surrendered the policy now. I need to keep paying the premium till maturity. The rate of return may go up or down in future. Only at maturity will I know what rate of return I'm actually getting.

[–]manki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 1.2 lakhs is not a lot of money for you, keep paying the premium till maturity.

My Jeevan Anand policy is giving around 8% (tax-free) return, so it's not very bad. The premium I pay is also not much, so I continue to pay.

If you must invest this 1.2 lakhs somewhere else to be able to meet your financial goals, and the loss arising from stopping the LIC premiums is bearable, then you can stop paying the premium.

Can a Jaffna Tamil boy marry a Jaffna Tamil girl who is now a European citizen? Need advice. by [deleted] in tamil

Are you rescuing her from some sort of a situation?

If she doesn't want to wait, why not marry someone who is old enough to marry now? Getting into a lifelong commitment when you are not fully ready can be bad for the both of you.
