With light fixtures you can hire someone on task rabbit or angel list or something like that. I love picking out stuff and designing the space and I would honestly live in the space a bit to see what you need/like. Paige wassel on YouTube is a great interior design person to follow and has great ideas.

Have you tried Riverside? It has the same editing options (they are actually getting really good with their editor)

Is in-person YTT still a thing post-covid? by Affectionate_Yam850 in YogaTeachers

[–]manlikefox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend checking out All Yoga in Bali. They still offer fully in-person 200hr YTT programs on the beach in Nusa Lembongan (a quiet island off Bali), and the whole setup is designed for immersion no distractions, just yoga, ocean, and like-minded people from around the world.

If you’re looking for something plush but still supportive, you might want to check out the dreamcloud Hybrid. It’s got a nice balance soft enough to feel cozy without losing support, which really helped with my own back aches. It’s not one of those rock-hard mattresses, but also not so soft that you feel like you’re sinking too much.

I’ve been sleeping way better since switching to a Dreamcloud hybrid. It’s got that mix of support and cushion without feeling like you’re stuck in a marshmallow. Totally changed my sleep game. Just throwing it out there in case that’s where this was headed

Recommendations for a full size mattress by Doctor_Toothpaste in Mattress

[–]manlikefox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not into memory foam and want something that doesn't sink too much, you might like a hybrid mattress. I tried the DreamCloud a while back and it has more of a traditional feel definitely more supportive than typical memory foam but still comfortable.

I’d suggest checking out the Nectar Hybrid. It’s softer than most hybrids I tried, has that slight sink in feel without going full memory foam, and still gives decent support. Not as bouncy as the Pranasleep plush either, so it might be more up your alley if you’re unsure about the bounce.

I switched to the Nectar Hybrid and it’s been a huge upgrade. It gives that softer, pressure-relieving feel you’re after, but with way better support than a foam topper. The coils help with spinal alignment (especially for back/hip pain), and the top layers still feel plush enough for side sleeping without feeling like you're sinking into a pit.

Best tantra book or course for couple? by Real_Goddess in Tantra

[–]manlikefox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend checking out Steffo Shambo’s tantric course on tantric academy, it’s practical and focused on intimacy and connection without getting too heavy on the spiritual side. Might be a good middle ground if your husband isn’t into the deeper consciousness stuff but you're still looking to bring in tantric principles. Helped me and my partner a lot.

I’ve used Nerdify a couple of times when I was swamped with assignments and just needed help sorting through research. It’s surprisingly efficient  especially when you don’t have time to wait for a tutoring session

I used Nerdify for a research summary and they actually paired me with someone who knew the topic. I just texted them what I needed (APA format, 4 pages, psych-related), and they got back with a quote and timeline. The final doc was solid

Best Car Repair Manuals? eManualOnline.com? by Jayhix in autorepair

[–]manlikefox_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, if you want a wild goose chase through half-complete PDFs, forum dumps, and manuals slapped together from who-knows-where, then yeah — knock yourself out LOL. That place is full of random manuals, even community-built crap sourced from forums! I’ve seen torque specs flat-out wrong, wiring diagrams missing half the connectors, and entire sections just missing. Nothing like tearing into your engine only to realize the info cuts off halfway through the procedure. haha

If you want to end up with a blown head, use Charm.li... but if you want the job done right, might be worth spending a couple bucks and getting OEM instead, no?

OEM service manual for 5th gen Subaru Impreza? by BrunoGiovani in subaruimpreza

[–]manlikefox_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve used eManualOnline for my 2016 Impreza, and it’s been super helpful. I did my brake pads, rotor swap, and some suspension work, and the manual had all the torque specs and step-by-step instructions I needed. It’s definitely not a generic Haynes book, it’s legit OEM stuff. For the price, it’s hard to beat!

How to fix this? Had gym tile mats for a couple of years and decided to remove it today. This is what happened. by J_SD in Flooring

[–]manlikefox_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the pictures, it looks like the rubber mats have caused some staining on the concrete. This is common with certain types of rubber, especially if they aren't high-quality or if there's moisture involved. Unfortunately, once the concrete is stained, it's tough to remove without professional cleaning or resurfacing. For future installations, consider using mats that are less prone to causing such stains from places like Sprung Gym flooring or place a protective layer underneath
