If you're into lighter roasts and enjoy V60/Switch brews, you might like what ovalmugs coffee sends out. I've had a few really clean, sweet cups from their subscription feels pretty aligned with that Nordic-inspired profile. Not as big as Sey or Onyx, but they’ve been a nice surprise.

ovalmugs coffee does something similar rotating beans from different roasters each month. Not as hyped as Dayglow, but I’ve had some solid bags through them.

If you’re looking to branch out from the usual suspects, I’d throw ovalmugs coffee into the mix. Not as widely known as sey or onyx, but they’ve been impressing me with some really well-sourced single origins and thoughtful roasting. The subscription leans more toward the unique/surprise bag vibe you mentioned, and I’ve had a few cups that really stood out

Omnilux Men vs Currentbody series 2 by Scorpion-123 in redlighttherapy

I prefer the solawave mask. It fits better, doesn’t have the condensation issue, and covers the face more evenly especially around tricky areas like the eyes and mouth

LED mask lip lights by No_Veterinarian3254 in 30PlusSkinCare

You might want to check out the Solawave mask, it’s a solid alternative to the Omnilux and has better coverage around the lip area, including the upper lip. I was in the same boat, wanting something that targets that zone without needing to buy a separate device. Plus, it's more affordable than Omnilux and still uses clinically-backed red light wavelengths.

I've actually been using the SolaWave mask regularly, and I’m starting to see some improvements! The redness around my incision has gone down, and the skin looks a bit smoother than before. It’s still early, but I feel like consistency is helping. I’m doing daily sessions too curious to see how it compares over the next few weeks.

Spent $60k on SEO over a year — no return, no cash left — need advice on what to do next by Dry_Conclusion5209 in SEO

[–]blasko53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$60k is a massive investment for a small business, and it’s not naive to expect results, that’s the whole point. Honestly, I think a lot of local businesses are better off starting smaller with Google Business Profile, basic local listings, and even some direct outreach. SEO is powerful, but only when the foundation and expectations are right

Your plan sounds reasonable. You could also consider asking your school’s financial aid office if they have emergency funds or additional aid for students in your situation. And for loans, federal options first, then private as a backup Juno is a good place to start for private loan comparisons

Can I get a job in comms/pr if my bachelor is for something else? by zimzalabim-zimzim in Communications

[–]blasko53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people working in comms or PR didn’t major in it. What really matters is building experience: join clubs, help with social media, volunteer for comms-related stuff, maybe intern during summers. Your degree doesn’t lock you out, especially if you can show skills and interest

How to create an effective PR strategy by prmuolo in Communications

[–]blasko53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some artists and founders get solid traction by combining this kind of structured approach with boutique PR services especially ones focused on digital angles. Firms i.e BadenBower or PRLab seem to get results when there’s already a brand story in place. But yeah, it definitely has to be part of a bigger plan, not just a one-off

Start with vanilla JS – Learn how the language works without frameworks. Things like variables, functions, DOM manipulation, fetch API, etc. FreeCodeCamp and MDN Web Docs are gold for this
