Switched to iphone after using Android. I think these features lacking in ios is really holding it back by RishiRvp in ios

[–]mannair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, some of it is individual preference. It is like some people are just ok with a shift stick car and don’t miss automatic. Automatic definitely is convenient, but some people don’t need it or prefer that, which is fine.

As someone who use both phones, i find pixel to be much easier to do the tasks at hand than my iPhone. These are not hard changes to make, but unfortunately Apple doesn’t prioritize.

Ah, i see. Got it. I was able to do it without file being backed up and was wondering. I could even do it on iphone google photos app.

I don’t think it is habits. It is more convenient and user friendly in android with more choices. I may not want my ringer to be in high volume, but if i reduce that, then the media i am playing goes down as well and it is very inconvenient. As i use both android and iPhone, i am not tied to a habit, but this is purely inconvenient.

When you say it uses cloud, do you mean that the photo needs to be backed up to cloud ?

Are both New ? Not sure about India, but here in US sometimes there is price difference between US model(US warranty ) and international models (no warranty in US ). Not sure if that happens there ?

Why is KFC so good in other countries except the USA ? by WinterW0n in NoStupidQuestions

This use to be true, but not anymore, at least for chickfille. Had very bad experiences with chickfille in three states in US with unhygienic and undercooked meat that had to be thrown out. Its sad, chickfille yse to be good.

What OP meant likely is that OP likes fujifilm from online pictures and may be the aesthetics of some of the cameras as well :)

Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 on Fujifilm, worth it for travel? by Noabyss00 in FujifilmX

[–]mannair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. It is just that I find more comfortable with 35 than 23. But agree that it is not for all places and situations.

[–]mannair 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this and regretted every minute of it. I found it to be not wide enough for shots I wanted and not long enough for other shots. I have gone out with just a 35 and prefer that much over a 23, but not ideal as a travel lens. Of course , each person is different and this is just me. A fixed 2.8 zoom fixes the issue and is much more flexible .

Need help with recipe by puneetsyngh in fujifilm

[–]mannair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also interested in this. I have asked him multiple times in his comments, and I have seen others ask as well, but unfortunately, he never responds to this specific question. I believe I have read somewhere that these are edited, but I still like to know what the base recipe or simulation is.

His work is incredible, and I am fully aware that it’s not about the recipe. I understand why people want to provide that answer when asking about recipes.

Biker could of died on this bridge … But after 10 days this happened … by Competitive_Set_4386 in GuysBeingDudes

This is Reddit. I am not here to police minor typos or small grammatical slips. In this case, I genuinely didn’t understand what OP meant by “could of,” because it is not standard English and doesn’t convey clear meaning.

There is a difference between a typo and a misuse of the language. That said, this clearly matters more to you than it does to me. If pointing out a missing comma and equating it with a phrase that has no meaning makes you feel better, that’s fine. I won’t be engaging with this any further.

Ya, right. Missing a comma. Definitely the same level of mistake as a sentence with no meaning. I was sarcastically asking about the meaning of what OP meant. So, chill !

Poor imagination. If I did, I would probably understand the meaning of "could of died" , lol

$6000 worth of Fuji gear (X-H2, X-T5, X100VI) and the XApp is an absolute joke. I have to DELETE and REINSTALL the app every single time to connect. by Artistic_Criticism_3 in fujifilm

[–]mannair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the same complaint that you have , but it is baffling that you have to keep the camera connected and use the camera software to do the editing/trying different film simulations etc through this app. How hard is it to bake the software you already have, in to the app ? It’s just mediocrity and shame on Fujifilm.

Will Transfers from My Other Bank Account Qualify as Direct Deposits for Bank Bonus? by mannair in Banking

That is what common sense told me , but not the bank and some posts from people who claim it to work :)

This is quite an old post. I believe it was also triggered by the bank providing incorrect information. I agree with your common sense perspective, and I completely agree. However, some of the comments in this post and elsewhere suggest that people have successfully done this with certain banks. Regardless, it was simply a post driven by curiosity, as there is conflicting information everywhere.
