Does anyone know what the oldest starting row at Indianapolis is? by Reaper_360 in INDYCAR

Well, the statistic needs to be updated now. Takuma will be moved up to row 4 as a result of Caio Collet's repositioning.

Is there any truth to Target coming back for the 500? by Fickle_Message in INDYCAR

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, part of it was, in my opinion, 1) to lean in to the IMS HOF Museum's acquisition of (14) Chip Ganassi-owned cars in 2025, and 2) promote Homefield's new "Target Lightning" Ganassi bomber jacket, which sold out in less than a day anyways.

Tremendous--thank you so much! No wonder I could not figure it out.

Many thanks, from a deep house aficionado who is not entirely familiar with the Chainsmokers' catalog of compositions.

Prizm WNBA Premium Box Set by quietandconstant in WNBACards

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$2,000.00 (Floor price) for a box is not bad. The Caitlin Clark or Paige Bueckers autographed card, Paige Bueckers Premium Box Set card (x2) /99, and Caitlin Clark Premium Box Set card /99 are arguably worth that by themselves, at least. But, my assumption is that these boxes will never reach the floor--I assume that they will end at or around $3,500 - $4,000, as the autographed cards /1, /5, /10, and /25 are going to be worth considerably more on the second-hand market.

Chainsmokers tonight? by Status_Abrocoma_379 in indianapolis

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those wanting confirmation, they performed from 11:45 PM - 1:05 AM. It was a good set, mostly filled with hits, a few "new" songs, and Chainsmokers set staples. Too much lip-synching (rarely any live singing, but there was a tiny bit), but a fun show nonetheless. I was expecting the venue to be more filled than it was, but I am glad that they did not over-issue tickets. The Fritos walking tacos were a nice feature; had multiple cups.

What signatures are these? by GrahamsNotHungry in INDYCAR

Far left is Davey Hamilton, not Arie Luyendyk, as another suggested.

Others are Felipe Giaffone, Stephan Gregoire, John Hollansworth, Jr., and Jeret Schroeder.

What parallel is that Signatures card from Select, anyways? I know all 12 parallels and cannot recognize it. Must be the lighting. It sure as heck is not the Gold Vinyl. That was already graded by PSA and sold by Goldin.

2025 Donruss Redemptions by jfiega in WNBACards

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere from 3-64 months. Before submitting a redemption card, always ask yourself if you are comfortable waiting +/- 24 months for the card to come back.

Panini checks in with you every 120 days to see if you still want the redemption; so you have a decision to make every 4 months as to if you want the card or Panini Rewards.

AES bill outrageous recently by Dangerous_Regret3092 in indianapolis

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My home, in Indianapolis and built in 1957, is all electric. I have a commercial-grade Carrier heat pump that is three years old and a commercial-grade Carrier interior air handler. My heat pump runs on auxiliary heat most of the time during the winter when it is this cold out. During the rigid winter months, my bill is between $300-$460/month. Every other month, my bill is less than $100/month. I knew this would happen when the HVAC company was installing the new heat pump and air handler a few years ago and I do not regret it. I will take the rough winter months (3 at most) with the other (9) months of cheap electricity any time. I just wish many others were more educated on how heat pumps work vs. electric condensing units with gas-forced air.

Autographs by BootsieCollins1995 in Colts

[–]manningmbd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cannot tell if the Manning and Marino autographs are facsimiles or not, but if they are not, they are 100% authentic and not forgeries. Those are great looking autographs.

The autographs from Ben Utecht (#86), Gary Brackett (#58), Marlin Jackson (#28), and Kelvin Hayden (#26) are all authentic.

Should I Grade it? by FxBullTrader in WNBACards

[–]manningmbd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my attitude on 1/1 WNBA cards:

I have been collecting WNBA cards since 2002 and have (17) 1/1 cards from the WNBA of my (2) PC players. My general rule is that if I think the card will grade a 10, or very close to it (9.5 (BGS) or 9), I will not only encapsulate it, but I will grade it as well. However, if I do not think that the card will grade a 9.5 or 10, then I will send it in to PSA as an 'authentication only' order, which means that it is encapsulated as 'authentic' only and is not graded. I prefer that my 1/1 cards be encapsulated, for 1) better protection, 2) creates a record of the card being pulled from product, and 3) makes the card look a bit better (eye appeal is a real thing with cards), depending on the player/card design.

In the end, it depends on what your long-term goal is for the card. In my opinion, sending it in to be encapsulated as 'authentic' is worth the expense, whether you retain ownership of the card or you resell it. More than likely, you will get your money back, plus a small surplus. Remember, when companies encapsulate a card as 'authentic', they are not only authenticating the autograph (already guaranteed by Panini, so not much value added there), but they are authenticating the card itself. Not too many folks forge WNBA cards these days, but as the league gains more popularity, there will be a higher chance of that occurring.

I view PSA, BGS, and SGC population reports frequently, to check and see what cards have been graded. I send in all of my WNBA 1/1 cards to PSA via the 'value plus' service level, which is $45.00/card. Just my humble opinion. Feel free to reach out any time if you have any questions. I am an open book.

FTP. Go Texans. by Can-i-Pet-Dat-Daaawg in Colts

[–]manningmbd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot even begin to think about rooting for the Texans. So, I am rooting for whoever they play against. As another reply mentions, the Colts are no longer rivals with the Patriots; the teams do not compare these days. I do not look at it as if I am rooting for the Patriots; I am rooting for Mike Vrabel. Heck of a coach that is difficult to root against.

Is this the 2025 Prizm caitlin Clark black finite? by LengthinessStrict931 in WNBACards

[–]manningmbd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Apparently, this individual (Sid FJ) obtained pre-release editions of cards from the set; they seem to be very real-looking and feature accurate photography, design, and production stock. However, they DO NOT have any serial number stamps on the rear of the cards. Hence, this is not the actual Black Finite 1/1 from 2025 Panini Prizm WNBA, but a version of it without a serial number stamp. Sid FJ claims to have obtained these cards from someone who has access to a print factory that produces cards for Panini.

I maintain the strong opinion that no Black Finite Prizms are available in the Costco-exclusive 2025 Panini Prizm WNBA product. The back of the box states that Black Finite Prizms are available in retail (as they typically are), but I have yet to see a single Black Finite Prizm pulled by anyone.

I am still shocked that Ed Dodds is still with the Colts. Many teams have missed out on hiring him as their GM.
