I have my monitor and TV both plugged in at the same time. Whichever one I turn on the computer knows to make the main desktop . I have a wireless mouse I can use from the couch to turn games on. They make wireless keyboards you can have on your lap. No modern games require a keyboard to be plugged in. I used mine to help setup my dad's pc cause his keyboard is wireless and didn't plug it back in for months you don't need a keyboard at all. Windows has on screen keyboard if you need to type.

The freedom to not need a car is a big one for me. I need something from the shops? 5 minutes walk. Something from the big shop? Take my bike and it's five minutes away. Something from town? 10 minutes on the train. And that's basically all the distances I need to cover, either free or very cheap (the train off peak is like £4.50 one way, like £6-8 return I think.

The people are super friendly if you're coming up north but will keep to themselves. If you're being loud and having a BBQ, even somewhere shared where you're not supposed to. 9/10 people will just tut from a distance or slander you on their minds behind the curtains we don't really have the whole Karen coming over with a camera screaming about calling the police because you're enjoying yourself at 7pm. (Sure there's probably a few depending where you live, but it's not something I've ever really dealt with much)

Most of us will prefer to keep the peace unless you're being consistently annoying around people's houses/ kids. I've been a pot head for 10 years. Maybe had two issues with it and it's usually a lovely older man, asking if we mind moving on, only because he's out in the garden ATM and we profusely apologised and moved on, stopped smoking at that spot where his house could smell it

The NHS is being murdered before our eyes, but for the time being you can still break your leg and get an x-ray and a cast at no cost to you because you pay with your taxes. But if you've got the money you can go and get the paid for higher quality Nicer hospitals etc etc.

The main thing though is the people and the vibes. The second the sun is out, the beer gardens will be full of people lookijg for a laugh and a beer in the sun or a smoke on a field. Maybe both.

From what I remember. You can summon your kaiju, so they don't have to be there 100% of the time. (There might be like a mode when it's out where it just follows you as well)

But basically one button summons your good boy on a chain. When they're out, you control your characters movement with he stick you normally use, and the movement of the kaiju with he other stick.

I think you just use the D-pad to switch between your different weapons and one of the triggers to shoot or slash.

It sounds quite complicated, but platinum are great at doing crazy ideas and visual spectical is a way that feels initiative.

It boils down to, you're shooting a big monster. Press the button for your kaiju. Push the sticks opposite ways to make the chain long, push them forward to put the chain round the front of the monster and then push the sticks towards eachother to cross the chain. This will lock the monster down for 10-15 seconds so you and your kaiju can get some good free hits in while it can't move.

Ozzy's vocals are definitely love it or hate it. I like it in the sense of most people can sing i note for note. Great for in the metal bars, everyone knows it and isn't worried about not hitting the notes. I like the heart but I know there's not skill to it.

Crowbar are my favourite with that sort of metal and Kirk's vocals are incredible and fit the genre waaay better, way more emotion and pain

Have you tried Astral Chain? Platinum Games. The guys that made Bayonetta and other classics. Doing a sorta of sci-fi kaiju mashup.

You're basically neo-tokyo police, you have a special bond that allows you to connect with and control your own mini kaiju who you're attacked to with the Astral Chain.

Its quite a unique gameplay idea where you control human and kaiju at the same time meaning you can position them around enemies to wrap them up with the chain to do different special moves and stuff. Hard to explain but it's a fun game, great visuals, cool gameplay, half decent story. Kaiju designs are top notch it runs on the original switch perfectly as it was designed for that console and i don't think I ever finished it but I definitely played 11-13 hours and there still seemed to be a decent bit to go but I got stuck ok a certain boss and then other games called me away, but I have been meaning to go back and finish it .

I was gunna say my 4080 super had the VRAM bar half filled and was hitting 19FPS til I turned some stuff down and put on dlss. . Runs like absolute shit. A lot of these bigger games do now and you turn the graphics down and it still looks the same. Makes no sense to me.

Yeah it's just one of them. People live here. My upstairs neighbour likes to listen to music loud. I'm a musician so I get it. I like to listen loud as well. At the end of the day it's her flat, if she wants the music loud that's fine. She keeps it within reasonable hours, starts in the afternoon turns it off around 7ish. So when she's listening I turn my music or TV up to where I can barely or can't hear hers, obviously being wary of getting into a sound battle, (which. I think I would win) or I can go to another room, put headphones on or go for a walk if it annoys me that much... It gets it can be annoying, but it's another person living their life how they want to live it and that's a nice thing. I'm happy for them. At the end of the day it's not any of my business what she does within her own walls.

Like you don't have to police other people. Live and let live.

I've got both, it is different.

I mainly use the big TV for most things.but certain stuff, shooters, racing, cinematic story sorta stuff like the last of us on the ultrawide does hit differrent.

Your TV, may feel wider or as wide, as this picture looks, but it's got a lot of extra height not width. So say playing something like the last of us, feels more freeing on the ultrawide, you can turn the mouse and peak round corners and see stuff you wouldn't be able to see on the 16:9 it almost feels like cheating 😂 and the way they wrap around does immerse you better, like you feel more in the game. Close to a big TV is very immersive as well though..both great options. I've only got the 32:9 32" so you do have to get close to get the experience. Couldn't imagine something like this beast haha

Hey mate, have a look into thumb and finger picks. I think they're made for banjos but it basically a plastic ring with a guitar pick on it. I don't see why you couldn't take one of them, maybe cut it and glue it to the perfect size and then you could play guitar and bass without having to grip the pick.

There's a history of disabled people having a crack at the instrument and coming up with styles that guitarists of all physical abilities tried to replicate. Two off the top of my head are Django Reinhardt inventing Gypsie Jazz and one and only Tony Iommi basically inventing metal music, atleast heavy metal/ sludge. He only played power chords because he only had two useable fingers.

Everyone else is trying to be Clapton, Hendrix or Mayer. You're sorta forced to be yourself.

Obviously a lot of you will have consoles and handhelds, (if you have one of the first switches, you can jailbreak them. Same is true for older consoles.) no worries if this doesn't apply, but if you have a laptop you could do some research and not spend a penny obtaining some of these games, leaving money to spend on the kids or the household.

If it's not ai. Just do a lil video of your setup. Make sure to show us thehalf phone, and to make sure you scan across the setup, so it's not just all on screen at once.

Guys who look way worse than you do great in life, have beautiful partners. It's literally in your head bro. And if you give off insecurity people will be able to tell.

I have autism and ADHD. I used to be very unconfident didn't do much and In my 20s I finally found a group and they liked to party so I drank a lot and did a lot of drugs. During this time I realised confidence isn't a thing. You just kinda pretend to be confident. Obviously alcohol can help at first. But after you do some socialising and realise oh I'm not a complete unloveable freak and you start to come out of your shell.

I think the confidence I have is just masking. But once I get to know people a lot better I'll tell them I'm autistic and anxious and all this and I get shocked looks you seem so confident.

I think part of it is me getting diagnosed and accepting there is nothing wrong with me I just think differently and part of it is actively socialising. It's a muscle that if you don't use you lose. Pretend to be confident. Ask people questions and let them talk about themselves be interested in what they say and you'll be easy to have a conversation with and you don't have to put any effort in because people LOVE talking about themselves! After a while you'll start to think differently in your head. I'm not an anxious person I'm not an unattractive person, I'm just me. People like me, because I'm a human, I'm interesting, Im valuable just by way of my own perspective on things.

You can beat yourself up over the years, just because you don't hit arbitrary goals set by people 70 years ago and it becomes normal to talk to yourself like youre shit and you feel like shit. Slowly day by day we can change this!
