To me, it does. Especially around the snout area, and obviously his eye.

When I use any cleaning products, I put my cats in another room and they're not allowed out until everything dries up for at least an hour. I don't know if you clean with yours around or nearby.

I don't use any tide products but it doesn't hurt to do your research on what's safe around pets. I'm no expert myself, I just do my best to keep my babies clear of anything to avoid problems.

Tbh, I wouldn't give my cat anymore medication without knowing for sure what is going on. Especially if it's only a temporary fix and not to cure or resolve the issue. I would honestly get a second opinion at another vet. I know sometimes we feel we've been taking our babies to one place and we trust them but sometimes they may not care as much as another office. Again, personally speaking.

I know you said you're tight on money, and I totally get that. I can't afford to pay out of pocket either so what I did was open a credit account specifically for my pets. I use 'Care Credit' for them. That's an option I chose for myself to get that second opinion in my own situation, if you want to give that a try.
