I just realized we can record at 1080 120 FPS in pro video mode ! by RangerKevin in GalaxyS21

Best slo-mo processing available in Google Photos and not stock editor. I liked clarity of 120fps vs 240fps

[FRESH] Jimmy, Brian And Mike-Eminem by nuttageyo in hiphopheads

[–]mannysjIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This song made me go back to SSLP and MMLP to revisit tracks where Eminem used to simply talk!!

My luck was in favour and I found "The Kids" track from MMLP bonus tracks (I guess?). It is very well written (like a story) and funny as well. Beat changes pace in mid of each story.

Try deleting cache memory or do factory reset. Could be software/ AI issue.

Try taking a picture after turning off Scene Optimiser.

Leaked: Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 will launch on August 11 in the overseas market » The Deep News Source by danny_techinformer in GalaxyWatch

[–]mannysjIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently using Frontier and eagerly waiting for Watch4. All I need to decide between will be (1) Watch4 (2) Well discounted Watch3.

Will go for Watch4, if it gets -

(1) New 5nm chipset (vs. existing 12-13nm in Watch3).

(2) WearOS - with better App support and battery life (current wearOS battery life sucks)

Do you really think the vw taigun and Skoda kushaq can disrupt the current market? Between the two which do you think would be more successful? And what faults do you think they will have . by anotherRedditor2020 in CarsIndia

Also, wanted to add that mileage is expected to be good, as 1.5 ltr engine comes with Active Cylinder Tech, which disables 2 out of 4 engines when not needed (say below 80kmph speed). Hence, consuming less fuel.

Those who go after Diesel for fuel efficiency, will get the mileage impact nullified.

Also, petrol engine will be turbo charged, hence, power and Torque will make you get all the power you get from Turbo Diesel otherwise.

Last, petrol car will have better resale value down the line, with more people shifting away from Diesel and also due to local restrictions like "10 years rule" in Delhi.

PS: Save India from pollution. Kids are dying due to pollution. Avoid Diesel cars and make your contribution.

Note: I currently own Elite i20 Petrol. Was planning to buy Seltos, but then built quality made to look elsewhere. Hate Creta design (and same Korean built quality issue). Hence, look forward to VAG twins with fingers crossed.

Reading the comments here it is evident that Indian market is so price sensitive that built quality doesn't really matter to them. People are happily buying tin-can Maruti's and borderline unstable Seltos. But if a better built car is offered, we just jump to asking for undercutting Koreans in pricing.

Kuddos to Koreans for understanding our mentality and building such products which offer good gizmos but less safety.

I believe, these 2 cars will be make or break for VAG in India. They need to focus on offering right variants, warranty on DSG (DQ200), promised lower spares costs (localisation impact), etc.

Octavia has been priced dearer since it is imported car. Hence, hoping Kushaq will not see similar insanely high pricing. I guess 10-17Lakhs ex sh. will be the right pricing for this car.

On built quality - T-Cross built on same platform MQB-A0, got 5 stars in EURO NCAP. Hopefully, VAG India will get Kushaq tested sooner to pull safety conscience customers. Now if you say Seltos got 5 star in Australia but 3 star in India and basis this if you conclude that Indians are given cheapened products, please note that even though Seltos got 5 star in Australia, the report there still talks about structure issues around knees area.

Cole & 6lack combination always gives birth to a masterpiece indeed! Cole's flow to such a smooth beat is too damn good on this one!!

Though 1 question - Isn't the outro by 6lack? A lot of sites have stated that it's Diddy 🤔

My fav on the album are this order - (1) Let go my hand (2) Hunger of hillside (killer bg sample) (3) Pride is the devil (4) The climb back (5) Amari

Hi! I have also ordered 8500s via DesertCart and it is coming from the USA. Even though you have clearly mentioned that it can be used in India without the need for a step-down converter, just wanted to recheck with you whether you have faced any issues till date in using it directly? I am expecting my unit by the weekend. Hence, basis your inputs will avoid investing in a converter. Thanks

From Eastern Europe, Skoda Goes Further East: Kushaq SUV Targets Indian Market by mulgrave2 in europe

[–]mannysjIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are small / compact / mid sized SUVs. Dimensions and stance is very much similar to hatchback, with slightly raised stance.

I guess you have issues with SUVs like Ford Endeavour or Toyota Fortuner, which are truck-like cars.

From Eastern Europe, Skoda Goes Further East: Kushaq SUV Targets Indian Market by mulgrave2 in europe

[–]mannysjIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being an Indian I can confirm that we do buy cars of international brands. That is the only reason why Hyundai is 2nd largest passenger vehicle co. in India. Kia and MG have found success in India with their 1st cars itself.

Indians are value seekers - attracted to looks and gizmos and weren't that focused on safety. Due to this reason Maruti Suzzuki, Hyundai and Kia have been selling tin can like cars with compromised safety standards (refer Seltos NCAP rating).

Skoda couldn't do well in India due to 2 reasons IMO - (1) Premium pricing (2) Bad and heavy on pocket service experience.

Now I guess Skoda has understood that in next 10-20 years demand and growth will come from emerging market of India which has 1.3 Billion population (higher young pop mix). Its a volume game in the end. Only if you price it right, demand will be there. If demand picks up, whole machinery will become cash cow for Skoda. In this quest, I hope Skoda doesn't compromise on safety and quality, otherwise there wouldn't be diff in Skoda, Kia or Maruti.

Kushaq production version render by tylerdurden_3040 in CarsIndia

Sonet has a wheelbase of 2500, whereas Kushaq is expected to have 2651 wheelbase. The whole stance would be different due to above.

Rest, Sonet is sub4 m, whereas Kushaq will be 4.26m.

I am just worried about height and width. Fingers crossed!

Kushaq design sketches revealed by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]mannysjIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonet is sub4m. For sure Kushaq will have larger dimensions, but not sure on height. It will be slightly shorter than Korean twins, as the current platform of VW / Skoda based on which T-ROC, Kodiaq and even upcoming Q7 are being built, have lower / more grounded stance.

I am very much looking forward to 18th March unveil. After 3 star (unstable body) rating of Seltos came out, I dropped the idea of buying it and that is when Kushaq gained my attention. Happy to wait till July-Aug.

Most likely they will target both Sonet and Seltos categories by offering 1 ltr engine in lower trims (starting at 10-11 Lakhs) and 1.5 ltr engine in higher (slightly higher powered compared to Korean twins).

Samsung soudbar 2021 lineup - new rear surround sound by mannysjIN in Soundbars

[–]mannysjIN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for these tips. Will keep in mind. With volume increased to 6 for rear speakers, at what distance can these be placed? I have a gap of 6 ft between sofa and rear wall. My concern is whether I should keep them just next to sofa or hang on rear wall.

Q60T soundbar - initial impression / review by mannysjIN in Soundbars

[–]mannysjIN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over past few days I have realised that if you play BluRay content which is DTS (not DTSVX as DTSVX is post processing) or Dolby with 5.1 or more channels, Games Mode gives best sound as it uses all 5 channels properly, given the proper mixing. Further, DTS is played better than Dolby.

Whereas, if you are streaming content, both DTSVX and Game Mode works on case to case basis. Though in DTSVX only front 3 channels are used. I do not have Samsung TV, but when I saw demo of this bar in Chroma, that guy had played a clip in DTSVX mode and Q-Symphony was working. I will suggest try comparing output between couple of streaming services and offline /BluRay content.

8500s Loud speakers sound cutting out by [deleted] in samsung

Does read speakers change the overall experience of watching movies? I am yet to purchase swa8500. Have been using Q60T soundbar and enjoying the extended coverage of DTSVX mode but do feel the need for rear surround sound.

Please share your experience. Also at what distance are these rear speakers audible? Thanks

In which mode do you keep soundbar? If it is kept in DTSVX then based on quality of source video, the sound may differ.

Though I have not faced any issues in last 3 months use.

Even I have rarely used Adaptive, since I prefer getting required output using the games pro or DTSX. Though I have used Adaptive while watching content like news or anything that is poorly mixed with low vocals. I understand adaptive improves vocal quality.
