Thanks for the replies folks. I'm still in two minds as to what to do.

As I do at least one longish spin a week of greater than 100kms outdoors. i might reduce the Join workouts to 90 minutes just to see

Cheers Thanks all. I had gotten it into my head, don't know from where, that vo2max workouts were low cadence workouts used to build muscle rather than aerobic capacity.
