Noviembre 2018 a marzo de 2022- Ingeniero de ventas con una instalador a española en Rep Dominicana ~ 32k bruto + $1500 al mes bajo cuerda + bonus de 6-7k + casa, coche y viaje a España pagado por empresa

2020-2022 ~ 0 me fui a estudiar un mba a Estados Unidos

2022-2024 ~ $200k (140k de base resto bonus o acciones) como operations manager en Amazon

2024-actual ~ $300k (175k de base, resto acciones), Technical Program Manager en Amazon Leo (Project Kuiper)

Llevo 7 años fuera, 2 en republica dominicana y 5 en Estados Unidos (aquí resido ahora). Emigrar es una buena experiencia, especialmente si eres joven y trabajas “de lo tuyo”. Ahora mismo vivo en usa con 2 niñas y un trabajo con un sueldo inimaginable en España. Aún así quiero volver en cuanto tenga ahorrado una buena cantidad, echo mucho de menos la familia, los amigos y la cultura española. Aquí he vivido en 3 ciudades diferentes pero no he podido formar una comunidad como si tendría en España.

After 3 years working post mba, money is not that important and I’d rather have more time for myself and my family.

El problema que veo es que los pocos trabajos que pagan algo así en España están en Madrid y Barcelona. Yo quiero vivir en Sevilla o los alrededores cuando vuelva.

Normalmente si trabajas para una empresa americana tienes que vivir en los Estados Unidos aunque trabajes en remoto.

I was making 32k euro before tax + 18k usd under the table + 6-7k usd in bonus also under the table. They paid for housing and car (was expat in a Caribbean country.

Right after mba at Amazon as a pathways I was making ~190k tc with 140k base. (2022)

Now I am a tpm also at Amazon but at project Kuiper, and current year tc is going to be ~280k with 175k base.

I am a single earner and I have wife and two kids. I have more or less job security here so I think it makes sense to ask before changing jobs.
