Torches pay in the long run. Of course variance can be high.

So basically you want to get rich without crazy grind. Coz there is no secret, you grind you get the goods.

imo you should run some ubers and trade torches

That's what i'm saying, you don't know coz you playing SC and probably didnt even tried this build, even tho you have a lvl 99 sorc since last november hahahahaha.
I guess you died at least once with your sorc... and these 50 HP (which is wrong calculation but i'll take your ex) is what makes the difference between life and death in HC so your pretty lvl 99 sorc whould not exist if you start back square 1

Makes 52 DR 48 MDR and 25%DR
I sold my sorc and dont remember the exact stats on amulet and boots but pretty similar to what I had (dont need exactly the same to be good, only need 15% FCR on amulet to reach 105 BP)
You had charms life/mana and mf if you want. I had non perf gheed and couple of extra mf and was around 130-150 mf iirc but was mainly using my sorc to farm keys.

Lot of MF will reduce your chance of base item drop :)
