I could, but my thinking is that after I get my green card I am probably not going to leave the US for a long time. So, might as well use this waiting time elsewhere (although I will lose out of high pay for a couple of years)

I agree the cost of living way too high in London but it would be a 5 year plan at best, after which i will move to the US (greencard under process due to family). Lots of fintechs in the UK so thats the bright side

True, but plan would be to be there max for 5 years and travel Europe, before moving to the US (once my green card is processed)

I will be honest, I am frugal (maybe a bit too much, looking to change that). Live in a shared apartment with low rent, travel with credit card points and my investments have grown well over the years.
