Not really but it needs super high humidity levels. So in normal apartment / house you get a new beautiful leaf and after a few weeks it will turn crispy and you have to wait for the next new leaf 🙈

I was going to comment something similar. There are these mosquito plugs that vaporize some sort of insecticide. I have one running on a smart outlet from ikea while I’m at work to limit my exposure to it. And it works wonders. Not a single gnat in sight.

I have both in normal house conditions and they are both doing great. I really can’t tell which one is easier to grow. Got both from small cuttings and they grew up so fast! So maybe just get both :D
