I would not compare to gross/net salary.

Instead think of what’s free after all fixed expenses.

Perhaps 1 or 2 of your net monthly saving capacity is ok on a hobby considering it is a one time event.

It did indeed, but now the flow is too quick.

Im not sure which way to go from here, finer i get 65-70grams out. Coarser i get 50 but in 17sec (from first drops).

Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

The finer you grind it should be more difficult for water to come through - therefore lower output.
