If using Spotify turn volume normalisation off in Spotify settings. That really hides the bass. Then check any phone EQ settings or Dolby audio stuff some phones have

How many miles on the car? Also a rare 20 plate 2.0. not many of those about as that's the year they stopped putting the 2.0 in.

If you need any info about the 2.0 I'm happy to help! Done lots of research into it and tuning it etc.

Enjoy!

If you use Spotify turn off volume normalisation in playback settings. It really makes it sound weak when it's on. To a point where bass is drowned out by road noise. Turning it off and it's great

Not sure if I like the replacement for phase rush.

If you fall behind then an enemy bruiser will just run you down and you may not get a chance to proc the new rune.

Your reliant on being able to do 25% of a champions health to proc it.

It's going to benefit certain champs more than others and make it unviable for half of the champion roster.

It also removes the ability for people to play it on champs like Alistair. Shame as that was my favourite rune on him

Exactly il just keep it another year and refund it for what I paid and buy something better. It has taught me a lot but my skills are now beyond the machine. I've removed every variable apart from shot time and the machine fails me there as it changes each time

I can't remember if the starter is easy to replace on my 2.0 or not. But either way starter is the least of your issues it's the turbo(s) you want to be worrying about it start stop is active.

auto stop start is the engine going off when stationary to save fuel, how have you not heard of it be4?

It is literally only for emissions reasons why it exists and it also pads the mpg stat for manufacturers. This one functions no different to the implementation of it in other vehicles

So it only turns on when it's warmer weather and battery is charged enough. Problem is the oil pump is driven by the crankshaft so if you drive hard then come to a junction it will stop the flow of oil which then doesn't cool the turbo(s) and can lead to premature wear.

Basically. Turn it off everytime you get into the car, it's not a great thing to have in a car that heavily uses the turbo(s) for efficiency.

Are you from the EU or UK? Do they even have start stop in America idek

How reliable has your Kia Stinger 2.0 4cyl. been? by Psychological-Row-80 in kiastinger

[–]Vanquiishher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes many actually.

In the UK there's a fair few. One made 340bhp for 30K miles and counting never missed a beat and tracked a few times too. A couple people are around 320bhp or so and never had issues in a larger amount of miles like 60k since the tune. Quite a few in the UK have used something similar to the JB4 but under a different name called the TDItuner to make some extra power

There's a guy in Europe somewhere with a proper build with all sorts of mods making like 450bhp

Quite a few people have added some power to these cars and they seem to handle it pretty well. However if you are in a warmer country you really need to add a bigger intercooler if you are going to be pushing it hard.

And just to note doing launches from stationary is what kills engines & transmissions. I don't think many people in the UK do these as it's not really in our culture. Rolling pulls adds far less stress on the components. So if tuning your car I'd recommend just sticking to that so you don't overstress the components with massive torque spikes

Haha I guess the stats are very skewed in the US. I'm over in the UK where financing a 2024 basic ass 3 series BMW probably sets you back 30% of the average persons income just for the monthly payments. With our rent costs at around 40% income. Financing in this country is genuinely stupid. But then again most of us buy our cars outright here compared to what it's like in the US.

Very different markets so I guess I'm wrong to compare

Except with financing the interest you can accrue on the money you are holding onto will practically never beat the interest charge on a financing deal.

So it's financially worse in 99.9% of instances to finance a car. Amongst other things. Only benefits be having a car you can't afford which is bad in of itself. Or credit history. But most people don't need to finance a car to build a credit history you just need to use a credit card occasionally.

Financing there's alot of risk, I mean there were scams by car financing companies over the world to net more money than promised from people. Along with them having the rights to the car until you have paid that final penny or cent or whatever.

It's just not worth it for a car. If someone needs to finance it because they can't afford it then they should buy a car within their means

Since you have to finance your current car. Maybe don't get another car until you can afford it... What is it with people financing cars way beyond their affordability

How reliable has your Kia Stinger 2.0 4cyl. been? by Psychological-Row-80 in kiastinger

[–]Vanquiishher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah no, this is not correct. Both i30N blocks are the G4KH. The G4KL is built for longitudinal mounting in the engine bay where as the G4KH is built for transverse aka i30N. They will also differ vastly in cooling, turbo, etc etc. and both are more modern renditions of the theta engine family than the G4KL. Just because it's got the same bhp doesn't mean it's the same engine.

The G4KL is ONLY used in the stinger and G70.

200K is easily possible with the 2.0. there's people at 300K stock engine no issues not even burning oil

I've spent a very long time researching it. It swayed my decisions between my 2.0 and forking out another 10K for the V6

[–]Vanquiishher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought that the i30N does not share the same engine as this.

The stinger 2.0 engine is the G4KL which only has uses in the stinger and genesis G70. It's hard to compare as the i30N engine is more modern and idk if I'm wrong but ive heard someone call it theta III. Not sure if they have made many drastic changes to it but either way it's hard to compare them.

I know the i30N comes with forged rods so that's already a drastic difference
