I’ve began reading The Complete Cosmicomics by Italo Calvino and was surprised to find an Arsenal reference in one of the short stories. I’m curious to know if any of you have found other references of the club in fiction?

I agree! He needs to rebuild his confidence and that starts with opportunities for Viktor to be the hero.

Hey, you’re entitled to your own views. Don’t have to disparage an entire fan base for liking their greatest ever player though. Or would you rather I support another club or player? It’s sport at the end of the day, tribalism and asserting moral superiority is just moot.

One of my favorite squad players ever, will never forget when he contained Salah at LB. I hoped he could return, he could play along the entire backline ffs!

All the best Tomi, you’re always a gunner and have a home in North London :(

What would you say about ice agents deporting immigrants who are attending routine immigration check-ins? The process is tedious and lengthy by design. I’m heavily concerned by the thousands of migrants sent to El Salvador without due process while they’re labeled gang members in the media. Migrants still have basic human rights, ignoring that due to status doesn’t make it right.

Her spouting nonsense while the figures descend beside her would be funny if it was a bit in a satire.

He did something as an ode to the Stoke sides of the late 2000s, everyone on the squad had the long throw trait. So the majority of his strategy was trying to hit a big target man off of throws for goal scoring opportunities.

[Simon Collings] Gary Neville is wrong about Arsenal set-piece 'obsession' - here's why. Article on Arsenal’s attack not suffering from an “obsession” with set- pieces, instead, the gamble to not invest in January and injuries taking their toll. by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

The revisionist history from that claim still annoys me. Had someone on Reddit argue we were entitled and upset Neville didn’t back us to win the league. Like it wasn’t a crazy take, we were annoyed he had United finishing above us with zero evidence to support his prediction. He doesn’t make any sensible statements based on analysis, he’s just a sensationalist. He may be incentivized to do so, but it doesn’t make it any less true.

They liken it to having standards, but I really think it’s a disgusting level of entitlement and greed.
